I only have 2 things as a must for coasters. Fun Factor and Re-ride value. I dont care about loops, air time, speed etc. As long as i come come off with a big smile on my face and wanting to do it again i am happy and to me that is a good coaster.
Uniqueness is key for me. I like speed, inversions and big drops are cool, but coasters that stand out are the most fun for me. Probably one of the reasons I love Volcano so much is because it's the only full circuit inverted launching coaster IIRC.
^I'm with you there for sure. I really wish there were less inverted B&Ms in the world so that I could enjoy them more. It really does make a difference to me.
Terrain interaction for me is also HUGE. When a ride is maneuvering around trees/valleys/water features/anything the coaster automatically seems far more interesting.
