Drakon | Paultons Park | Gerstlauer Eurofighter | 2026

At the end of the day Paultons have made that decision, it is their park afterall. Whether you like it or not whining isn't gonna change it. We should be happy that they're getting a coaster with an inversion, a first for the park with a UK first flat & rethemed area to match. Not to mention a watercoaster the year after
Yeah I agree. Never been to the park but from what I've seen in pictures and videos it looks like a very nice place and this coaster with inversions seems like a great next step towards a great well rounded park. Sure, an affordable compact coaster with inversions from other manufacturers like Vekoma or Mack - or a different type of Gerstlauer like an Infinity coaster - would probably have satisfied the enthousiast more, but this ride with a beyond vertical drop seems pretty well marketable for the park.

If growth continues in the same pace for Paultons, the next big coaster will be in their future plans.

Yes, an external company accidently put the plans up online. They removed them but not quick enough
If this is true, I’m surprised we haven’t heard more about it.

With interest in Paultons being higher than ever and the enthusiast scene seeming to latch onto and spread even the smallest, briefest leak, I feel like we would normally have heard about it.

Not quick enough but....no one got a pic? And when did it happen, i dont remember hearing anything about this?

The only thing i remember was the below and people running with it back in 2023.

Did you see it or just hear about it, we know a water attraction is coming and probably with whats appeared on site its a Mack so did they accidently show the plans. Just interested in what we are getting if someone saw the plans ☺️

Certainly saw it yes, doesn't look like the longest. Think Krampus but sure it'll be fab

Thanks for the clarification I would be happy with a Krampus-esc coaster,(Paultons personally should have gone for a multi buy from Mack buying a big dipper & watercoaster) I dont remember it being mentioned in the past on here but as this point definitely looks like this is what we are getting.

Any more details, this is very sparse info. Any other rides mentioned? The 2027 plot is 4x Drakons site so must be more than just a water coaster? Any show buildings seen in the plans, would love a dark ride section before the lift hill.

In the plans no, the station is featured with what looks like a drier down the exit. The restaurant seems to have a viewing platform terrace over the water coaster

On another note, it is surprising seeing how many people are hyping this up on social media and saying how amazing it looks. It's a big standard, not exactly long, Eurofighter at a regional park. It'll be nice, but not the second coming of Jesus like some people are acting.

Curious about where people are hyping it up? I thought the (enthusiast) response has been mostly resigned acceptance or outright disappointment that it wasn't something like a Big Dipper...

Was this a standard lift hill or using an elevator lift hill in the picture. Its just some of the concept art is showing mountains and the teaser video so was wondering if a mountain is incorporated into the ride theming?
