Efteling: Baron 1898 Media Day

One question though, were they selling this lovely promotional poster in the tat shop? I really want one.

Sadly Baron doesn't have its own shop :cry: Merchandise in Efteling has really gone downhill. I read somewhere that Baron will get its own section in the main shop (Efteldingen), but I had a look and couldn't find it.

There was a very small section in the main shop for Baron stuff - it has the mugs, address books and some magnets. The little stall place opposite the ride has more merchandise (the hats in particular look awesome!).


As for queue times, the ride seemed to be running two trains all of yesterday, which was why it had a very long queue. Even then, by the afternoon, there was only a 40 minute wait really and the queue still felt quite quick.

Thanks for the review Thom - really enjoyed reading it and seeing what happened on media day. I seemed to have liked the ride more than you, but I'll save my full views foot another day and another topic!

^ Ahh thanks for that! I'll have a better look when I'm back in the park. I heard about the two train operations, but I highly doubt it's because of saving costs. It might actually be more efficient until the staff has been trained properly. Looking forward to reading your thoughts of Efteling and Baron! Have a great time

Regarding the posters, I've emailed the park asking if they have them for sale. If not, I'm going to see if I can get a few knocked up to give away on CF.
