What's new

Energylandia | Abyssus | Vekoma Shockwave+ | 2021

As has been mentioned this blue track is very unlikely for a number of reasons to be a Shockwave but a new unannounced Vekoma Junior. If you were to push me I would say its very possibly a Vekoma 247m ride as seen at Transmart in Indonesia recently.

Having said that the Shockwave IS coming. Just not yet it seems. So enjoy this fan made POV for now.

That split spine looks really cool to me! I like the colours as well, they're kinda dark but not depressing with it like some other parks

Is this ride on top of the already announced junior coaster coming, or replacement? I haven't seen anything of that yet.

Not sure where else to post this, but the junior coaster is done:-

I'm wondering why this hasn't been announced yet by the park. Is this a replacement for the other kiddie coaster coming? Or is it on top of? But judging by the looks of things, this will be opening this year, possibly before Zadra.

Some park gave up this coaster and Energylandia got him cheaper propably.

Would be nice if they used their fundings to add more theming instead of just putting coasters up as it is real life rct
I think this too, but if they're making money this way without theming much, why start now I guess? I agree that more theming wouldn't do any harm though.

If Zadra / Dragon's Castle is anything to go by, along with the likes of Hyperion and Speed already, they're improving their theming standards for new attractions, so I'm not fussed. In fairness, a fair amount of the park has theming, albeit a bit tacky and cheap. It's not like the park is currently a fairground.

I imagine sooner or later (like sooner), they'll consider replacing parts of the current park anyway, so why bother theming something they'll rip out soon enough.

Damn, Energylandia are crazy.

My main concern with this is how obsolete it will make Formula. This is going to be a faster launch coaster, with more launches, more inversions, longer, taller, etc. On paper, it is better in every way. If it was a different manufacturer, or Formula was significantly faster, or had something better about it, then I wouldn't have any worries. But I can't really see how this is anything other than an upgrade on Formula?

Unless, of course, the park have plans to scrap Formula for something else...
The same could of been said for Wicked and Cannibal at lagoon but everything seemed fine, they will probably keep formula,

Poland seems to be the place for new themeparks in Europe, with
Legendia, Energylandia and Majaland.
