Surprised the lift hill isn't using supports that Skyrush and Intimidator 305 use. Anyone know why? It would've looked a cleaner here.

Possibly cost reduction, they also went for a chain lift instead of a cable lift.

I have a feeling that I305/Skyrush’s support system is far more complicated to construct rather than the more traditional supports used on Hyperion and Flying Aces. I305 needed an extra temporary support during construction, so maybe this method is cheaper? It may also be more efficient.

Intamin do enjoy experimenting with their lift supports, we never saw an expansion of Thunder Dolphin’s supports used elsewhere either.
