And why would someone be offended by nazi jokes? Most of this forum's members are American, that one country that did absolutely nothing useful. Annd I'm quite sure that no one here was alive back then. Other words: we should be able to make a joke or two about the subject

Most, but not everyone. Don't get me wrong I love an offensive joke but I can see why this isn't always the most appropriate place for them... Plus other people who aren't members do read these!

I was always under the impression that most of the people on this forum were English, either way, they are joke, jokes that weren't even that offensive... Anyways back to this, it's great to see Poland developing so quickly in the industry, its crazy how fast this park is expanding, definitely looking to head out here next year once the hyper is open too!

I am seriously disgusted by some of the sick-minded messages which have now been taken down. I reported the first one and was shocked to find tonight even more messages. To be honest, I am more suprised about how long it took for the messages to be taken down. Back to topic, it looks very good but the messages were not at all appropriate!

Are you having a laugh? They were literally just puns referencing historical terms? If you get offended by the words holocaust, fuhrer and nazi then I'm afraid it's you that has the problem.

Oh dear. I can see both sides of this argument.
Did i find them amusing? yes. Would I have posted them here? probably not.
We live in a world where Cards Against Humanity is a thing and is much worse than this. But to be fair this a public forum where anyone can see this. If you are going to post holocaust puns in a public forum please don't be offended when people are offended by them. Some people especially will have very pertinent reasons to be so.
And while there is room to have a well reasoned debate about this. This is perhaps not the thread to do it in
More on topic. Since Vekoma started using their new software and track production methods they are hitting it out the park. Lech Coaster, Formula One, The Energylandia Hyper proposal, the Fantawild looper, the Firestorm model.... and that is in less than two years. Those in the know have seen the new SLC model and some other concepts which apparently carry on this trend. I think I may be more excited about Vekoma than about Intamin and B&M right now....

Vekoma are really setting themselves up well for the next 5-10 years. This is just the start.

I really do feel like Vekoma are being re-born, and at the moment appear to be being more innovative than most other manufactures on the market (I say "most" as I think RMC and Mack are also being pretty creative). B&M and Intamin are, for a good time yet, still going to be the masters of the huge hardware. Their coasters are great, but when was the last time we saw something genuinely innovative from B&M, rather than just a good, solid, coaster that's just a re-work of a previously tried concept? Fury? Starry Sky Ripper? Thunderbird?
Vekoma are really setting themselves up well for the next 5-10 years. This is just the start.
