What's new

Energylandia's Future Additions

Also, there's been lots of chatter about a new gen Vekoma tilt coaster. Strong rumours suggest one going to Energylandia. Visuals showed one at Six Flags Saudi Arabia. So the coaster concept isn't fake.

There's still no link to the Instagram page from Vekoma's website, but the content of the page suggests it's genuine.

Its believable that it might be genuine; unlike the "Offical Vekoma" Twitter account last year which was obviously fake with its broken English, illegal pictures of F.L.Y. construction and made up teasers. Although the Tripsdrill teaser did strike me as odd - rare that manufacturers tease a secret project for the park?
Even never minding that I still could very much also believe it is again a fan who is trying to pass it off as real for attention and has learnt from before. Maybe someone should test my theory and leave some comments on Insta asking about deadlines and concrete?

Regardless the fact new Tilt Coasters are in the working is still a well known fact as Josh says. Energylandia unsuccessfully applied for a grant for one if I remember correctly?

Unofficial info:
Mine Train - Sign of the Dragon / Fire Dragon (O2.AG.1) Rollercoaster based on the theme of a ruined and burned castle controlled by dragons. Along the way, we pass caves and fire-breathing caves, traces of knights fighting with dragons, ruins of the great castle.
If this becomes true it's a fantastic name and storyline and fits in with the Zadra area theme well

I think the manufacturing account is in fact real and this Kings is just complaining. I do see no point in them removing the post, because someone claims it's their photo, as the portrait rights are still for the park (and possibly the manufacturer), unless CoasterKings explicitly has the permit to post this photo...

They're just concept renderings, usually, they don't see the light of day and are supplied by the theming company or creative agency to show the client the style of what they're going to achieve or things like 'reveals' etc., I'm really surprised that they've actually uploaded it.

Energylandia do have form for releasing things which are more just shared internally. Like the competing pitch videos from Vekoma and Intamin for Hyperion for example.

It does make you wonder if you just don't care and do it for the sake of it, or if they do check it's okay and see it as a two birds with one stone type of thing.

It's great to see Abyssus integrated within the new land, the path through the batwing is particularly striking. As excellent as Hyperion and Zadra are they are just plonked on the edge of the park so it's nice to see Energylandia moving away from this.
