Stoke have long had a reputation for being able to do exactly the same things - and from what I saw, it really showed through in yesterday's performance against Liverpool, from which I thought they were unlucky not to emerge victorious.

Sympathies for my 'home' team aside, I'd prefer to see Liverpool's form pick up again, simply because I'd much prefer to see Liverpool than Chelsea or Man Utd. victorious in May, and was consequently far from impressed by either of today's results - Chelsea, who I'd hoped would give United a run for their money were thoroughly crap, while I'd also expected better from Spurs...
 
It would be nice for us to win the FA cup this year, on the 20th anniversary of Hillsborough.

Everton will be without Fellani or whatever he's called for both matches due to his booking. The bitters dropped him last week to stop him getting booked and missing one, now he gets to miss both.
We should walk over the blue ****es, we have nothing to fear from them, apart from their sick chants about Steven Gerrard and Heysel and what ever else they sing about now.
 
Oh, this is annoying!

The Cottagers and Portsmouth, who were due to face Manchester City, may face sanctions from the Premier League if it is found they did not take sufficient action to prevent the postponement of their games. (Various)

We tried as hard as we could to avoid it being called off! Had heaters on the pitched day and night to keep it warm from -7c temperatures.
 
What are you on about, it's perfectly fair. All football teams have the power to control the weather. Portsmouth deserve to be punished...

This is about as ridiculous as it gets, how is it the teams fault that it was -7?

I'll be supporting Southend for giggles, whilst most likely freezing my arse off at Palace...

God that game is gonig to drag tonight I bet...

Thats it, dream is over no chance of wining now. 2 behind with an extra game plus our fixtures means the league will return to Castle Grayskull.

A kid with downs can make posts better than that.

Liverpool fans are either winging that there being riped off or picked on or hinderd by the FA. Its an endless load of crap just shut up put up and dop what all the rest do and bite your tounge or go else were.

Oh and FYI I am just a general football fan so dont Blaze cant moan im a mouthy manc or a cheezy Chelsea fan. I go to watch Preston North End Or Wigan Or Bolton Or Blackburn mainly local teams.

Sorry for being realistic about Liverpool. If I was making noise about winning, I'd understand. I don't care who you support, as long as you talk sense, it makes no difference to me. The fact you don't support Chelsea or Utd actualy makes saying everything worse, you expect it from rivals.
I may be a red, but still am a general fan, hense the observant comments. If we play how we are doing, no wonder I'm pessimistic.
As far as I see, saying we will be champions is more stupid than saying we have blown it. And it's not like I have insulted your teams or fans like you just did to me, I respect peoples teams here, and give honest opinions. If you want I can stop, and insult everyone here. Did'nt think so. If you think passion is shouting about how good your team is, you have another thing coming. Our fans are regarded as among the most knoledgable and passionate, not as moaners.
Maybe you should think about your comments. If you do not truly support one team, you can't understand the mentality. You can be passionate and reasonable at the same time.
On a lighter note, I am looking forward to Monday!
 
Am I allowed to complain about the dire standard of refereeing or not?

If so, if the Championship and lower leagues get the rejects from the Premiership, it really shows how poor they are...

Today's ref effectively gave them two goals, first one from a free-kick where the defender got the ball, and then the second one the linesman was so far out of line of play he never saw the offside I (and everyone else) saw around me at a 90 degree angle!
Then the other linesman tried to rule out our goal but the ref over-ruled him...
Let alone the 3 odd penalty claims we had...

If you're not a big team, you don't get the decisions ever... (cue Blaze complaining about refs being biased against Liverpool, even though he saw it on Sky :roll:)

^Tbh watching MotD half the time there are plenty of empty seats available... So arguably no... Especially PNE today on Sky, lots of empty seats...
