Europa Park | Voltron | Mack Rides Stryker Coaster | 2024

Monday I rode Voltron for the first time and I was really upset that it was so rough. I was happy to hit the brake run. I had a seat in the last row on the right side. But that shouldn’t matter at all. But it does. Because today I rode it in the front on the far right and it was way better. Not smooth but comfortabel. Later today on the third row it was again unacceptable. Dont get me wrong the layout is really ambitious, but mack went a bit too far. They were better of with a 2 seater instead of 4 or they should have made the layout less agressive.

I just rode it two weeks ago - left outside seat in the back - and honestly, it didn't feel rough at all! I've seen reviews that mentioned that one train is possible worse than the other. If that's the case I was lucky.

I've had good and bad rides on it, so I think some trains are worse than others. The wing seats are also shakier usually. I like Voltron, but I don't love it - I find it hard to enjoy as much as I'd like to. Lost Gravity is nowhere near as shaky as Voltron and is much easier to enjoy, although objectively, Voltron is probably the more interesting of the two.

They might have improved it over time - I went in June 2024 and it was a real mixed bag. I probably rode it 5 or 6 times over a couple of days and there was only one time when I had a really awful ride.

They did some trackwork a while ago and I feel like they did some work on the trains as well. It has improved quite a bit since opening, but the outer seats can still be rough. Inner seats are fine, but also on the rougher side of what I'd be willing to accept for a modern coaster.
