It's always something special when a coaster opens in your own country <3
And i have to say that for a family coaster, this is really good.

And it has been confirmed that it's a Vekoma.

I refuse to go to any park that doesn't serve Spaghetti Bolognese ;)

Coaster looks fab, though. I love the "dive under water" idea :)

It looks really random. I too love the diving under water element. However after that there is a lot of straight track. Nice to see Vekoma building another of these type of family coasters. I hope they have the same restraints as the one in Sweden.

Looks pretty fun I think, but the layout's a bit strange.

Ok, so it's a Vekoma SLC, it doesn't invert and there's lots of straight track but for some reason it looks quite cool. Family park, family coaster. I like the over (and under!) water parts. Yeah, that's pretty neat.

I like the restraint system. Without OTSR vekoma's trademark headbanging won't really be an issue. Looks like a great little ride.

Since it appears to be the same type as Kvasten it will probably be a great roller coaster, and since there is also Lynet, maybe a park to aim for!

However I hope that they will have two train operation, eventhough it seems to brake at the station like Kvasten. If the park is busy (don't know if it ever is, but in case) the queue will become HUGE really quickly. Will hope for the best, but appears to be promising.

This is a pretty crafty looking Vekoma. Definitely has the family coaster vibe to it, and those turns look like they can pack a little force for something that barely breaks 45 mph :D

I just had to check what was the "only one of it's kind in northern Europe". It obviously couldn't be the coaster type, since the only other of this coaster types is located in the neighbouring country of Sweden :lol:

But what the park promotes as the "only one of it's kind in northern Europe" is actually the underwater dive :)

Whereabouts in the park is it going? I can't imagine it fitting in anywhere haha, the theme is fairly different to the 'wooden' style they have going on in the rest of the park.

I'd imagine it'd go next to Falken along the side of the lake Jordan, in the more open and less wooded side of the park. At least that's where I picture it.

The pic has Falken's lift in the background, so it looks like its in the edge of the pond next to the woody ; there were some boats (speedboats?) in there I think?

Until a couple of weeks ago, I'd have been a bit "meh" about this.

The family SLC things in the States and Canada are **** ing dire. However, Kvasten is a really fun coaster and managed to completely change my mind about the ride type, which makes me think that this could be, for what it is, quite a fab little ride.

Ohh if it spites the little boats though I'll be upset :( If Denmark keeps going the way they are a return visit might be in order, which is amazing because Denmark <3

This looks fantastic for a family coaster. I'd love to ride it, I love the "swaying effect" that the hills offer.
