What's new

Fantasiana | Helios | Mack Stryker Coaster | 2025

Taking matters into my own hands since the mods aren't understanding that two different coasters at two different parks should have separate threads at this point. The fact they are in the same country or same model doesnt change this, and it has been known for several months now that its not one cancelled ride being sent to another park.

Here are some pics I took a couple of weeks ago at Fantasiana. Footers have appeared around the car ride that is to the right of the main entrance. Should be cool having a coaster passing over other stuff.

There is a sample piece of track promoting the ride too!

Right - have done my best to fix this. Sorry it's taken so long - this thread completely slipped me by. I have tried to split all Fantasiana posts off into this thread, but there may be some strange ones that straddled both. Any that are obviously in the wrong thread, let me know and I'll sort.

With quite a few footers in I cant imagine it taking long to build it once the park is closed for the year, Excited to see how this turns out with it being the first smaller scale Stryker Coaster

The park will get going straight away on construction as soon as the park closes for this season. First up will be the removal of Wild Train.

It's going to be fantastic ride! Some of the transitions look awesome!

This is worrying, I want to get on the Wild Train within the next couple of weeks but it looks like it's going to get eaten up by this building site before the end of the season!

Closes on 31st October and can't run in the rain so can't imagine it will be open all time until then

The park confirmed to me in an e-mail that it is open until the end of their season. So November 2. They did also confirm it does not run in the rain.

I'll be there October 30, so hoping for good weather!

Yeah I emailed them too! I wanted to go this Friday but that doesn't look possible now, and the weekend after that is currently predicted to be raining... argh! Fingers crossed for both of us, we're cutting a bit fine eh 😄

I am going this Friday, have been keeping an eye on the weather and looks fairly safe at the moment!

Just hoping they don’t knock out a Wild Train support with a digger or anything before then 😂

Good luck! I'm flying 6 hours from Saudi Arabia for this haha. Fingers crossed for this plus the other parks I'm planning to visit!

Doesn't run in the rain, explicitly stated? What kinda wicked witch of the west roller coaster is this thing
Just watch the episode on Coaster Studios where they almost got spited because it was raining lightly and they wouldn't run the coaster if a single drop was spotted and they had to wait for the lift hill tires to be completely dry.

Not watching through the whole thing but judging by the start and one of the top replies to the pinned comment it seems like it's basically because they can't get spares for the drive tires (so they're just way too worn to be useful unless conditions are perfect) from PAX be it because they don't make em anymore or because sanction caused lack of cargo movement between Russia and the EU.

Conny Land won't have the same issue I guess cause they redid most of Cobra with EU manufacturers.

I think not running in the rain is a surprisingly common issue on coasters with drive tyre lift hills. Even Thirteen at Alton Towers, an Intamin coaster, has had issues with this.
