Where & When
As the thread title says, Alton Towers on Sunday 20th March
Where to meet
The park is open 10am until 5pm. Please meet at 10:30 at Oblivion. Hopefully this'll give you enough time to get in and arrive at the coaster. First time and unsure who you're looking for? It's pretty easy to spot a group of goons, and if you don't know what I look like, give me a call...
Contact details
You can call, text or whatapp me on 07787 573565. I'm on Messenger if you want to find me. Please do let me know if you're going to be late.
Tickets & Directions
You can buy tickets from the Alton Towers website: https://www.altontowers.com/tickets-passes/day-passes/
Directions are on the website, too: https://www.altontowers.com/plan-your-visit/before-you-visit/directions/
Note it says the roads are "thin", which irritates me because the correct term is "narrow". Also mentions a closure of the B5147 from Ashbourne direction, so factor that in when travelling.
Explain the name, Ian
When I checked the website the other day, one of the banners used the word "Fantasmagorical". Checking today, they're not using so must've realised how ridiculous it was. Don't worry, I screengrabbed it! So alliterating that word with "faff" was a no-brainer.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
