FASTEST inversion?

I've no idea about Khan...I can't even begin to guess how fast it's moving judging just from off ride footage.

Going on what I said earlier though, Tatsu's pretzel is 124 ft tall, and pictures I've seen makes it look like it gets pretty close to the ground at the bottom. Manta's drop is 113 ft, and it reaches 56mph. Assuming Tatsu is about the same speed at the bottom of its pretzel loop, it seems to be a contender with some of the other candidates here.

Baco or Chiller still seem pretty likely candidates for this.
 
Probably either Baco or Tatsu, I know that Tatsu's lowest point is the bottom of the pretzel loop so I'd also imagine that it's the fastest as well, which would put it at 62mph/100kph.
 
^ Good thinking on Tatsu. That pretzel loop has caused far too many unintended pregnancies.
 
I think the fastest inversions are on older coaster as you can feel the g push you into the seats.

Older arrow loopers and rides like Scorpion.
 
Depends on how you define fast.

If you mean actual along-the-track velocity, Baco or a Pretzel loop for sure.

If you mean how fast it feels like you're inverting, I guess radial velocity (in polar coordinates) around the axis of rotation would be the appropriate way to measure. This would give you the fastest "momentary velocity" (the appropriate English expression is escaping me at the moment). However, actual data on this is (understandably) quite scarce and poorly sorted/searchable.

If you want an easier way to measure, I guess the time in seconds it takes for you to complete a full rotation would suffice. It would give you the average "roll speed" of the inversion, which may or may not fluctuate wildly through the element (if, say, it takes two seconds to get you from 0 to 90 degrees, but only another 1.5 seconds to go from 90 to 270). If you have enough time and enough offride videos of different coasters, it shouldn't be too had to find a list of good candidates.
 
Well I'd assume Baco as having one of the fastest. It must push at least 50mph through its inline?

On top of that - we have (had) Moonsault Scramble, which was short lived due to the excessive G forces in its pretzel knot.

The corkscrews on Batman inverts are taken at a good clip-as are the rest of the inversions, actually. I wonder how fast those are actually done at.
