The GF7 Video!

Well finally after many shots at getting a better frame-rate on YouTube. I failed....

But, here is the video anyway!

I found the best video setting was 720p, for audio and video.

Personally not a fan of the random effects in the Thorpe portion, but whatever...

Some nice shots but way too much trying to be fitted into a short time really...

Is there gonna be any videos of the Vamp stuff without any extras anyone?
 
OMG I loved it! That is one of my favourite videos ever made from a Live, at least that I've seen :D .

I LOVED the effect on the Thorpe secsh <3 Although maybe make 2 different videos next time? Seemed a LITTLE bit of OMG HERES THORPE NOW LOOK CWOA.

But omdz loved it <3

I was just making a comment that the effects didn't sit with me... It wasn't a moan, just a comment...

Thanks guys! :D No need to argue. Any comments are welcome. They play a part in future work that I'll do, with decisions I will make, partly. The effects for samurai/saw/exit were an attempt at taking a cartoon/storyboard and retro style to suggest the cartoon theme going on, and to fill a gap about 5/6 bars long. I thought it would be more interesting than standard images panning and that it would be good to take advantage of the theme I've been almost given on a plate.

I was actually considering 2 videos when I found it was going to head close (then over) the 4 minute mark... tend to aim for 3.30/45-ish as a final length so I can keep the music tracks under 2 mins, the threshold that a human will on average, stay engaged at one time... so I learnt off marketing. The change in track is to refresh the viewer and to show a distinct seperation. I like pace as its a challange and its always more fun to the eye when you have an overload of imagary to deal with. So one video is the end result, so it doesn't 'go on', faf or bore with 3 min individual videos with double the filler shots.

Anybody noticed that there were only about 15 standard ride shots? Thats something I tryed to cut down on to focus on the Group activity, as afterall its about the group, not the rides.

Does it matter what kind of comments? It's not like I was disrespecting the entire video... Feedback both positive and negative needs to be said... I didn't like the effects, so I stated as such... I thought there was a lot being packed into a short space of time, so I stated as such...

A-Kid no doubt will take things on board in the future to ensure high quality that everyone enjoys...

Base line to end this I think...

It was still a good video, just I'm not one for over-using effects... Simple as...

Brilliant job Leigh :D Some very nice shots going on there, and I'm actually really surprised at how clear his voice is, usually when people film these sort of things the voice is really faint.

That track walk was definitely worth the early wake up <3
