10 weeks till MCR! Really can't wait. I know several cfer's are most probably feeling the same. Any of you got youR tickets yet? OR is it going to be a last minute receiving from Seetickets AGAIN!
Is it only ten weeks :D Yes, I have my ticket, and Cathy got one for Christmas, from a certain most awesome brother, so you are not alone in counting the days. I can really see this being one to remember, as The Black Parade always seems as though it was written to be performed live, and will sound all the better in that arena :D Considering getting tickets to the London one as well, but will be down to me finding cheap ones on eBay, which is unlikely to say the least.

On another note, I went to the rescheduled Bullet For My Valentine concert this time last week... it was quite good really, despite constant issues with sound, and not hearing any of one or two of their songs. The support 'As I Lay Dying' were suprisingly good as well, and their music has since been looked into with approval. However, I've decided that bands with clean vocals are a lot more fun live... because an audience can join in, while there's not much scope for that with growling - hence Tears Don't Fall and All These Things I Hate... were by far the highlights of the night.

We got our exam timetables for or AS's today, and I was really ****ed off to see I have a Phyiscs exam on the friday morning of Download Festival. :( That isn't going to stop me though, I'll just go up around lunchtime for the evening acts and stay for the remainder of the weekend. I only have one exam after that and that is General Studies on the wednesday, so nothing big. I missed last years for GCSEs and I made it quite clear to my parents I was going this year.

...Well, that all depends on whether it is a good lineup too, which going by the rumours, it should be. :D

I tried to get tickets to see Enter Shikari this week in Gloucester as well, but they sold out before I had chance to get them. I wouldn't have half minded doing that as well. Oh well, always next time.

Bit disappointed with the GIAN line up for this year - only seemed to be HIM worth seeing, and 30 odd quid seems a bit much for that, so that can be saved for something else... Rumours surrounding Download are interesting, but I suspect it would end up more faff than it's worth... wait until the bands are back to be enjoyed in clean, dry, comfortable arenas again :p

^Nah, Donington Park > Arenas full stop. :p

Although with the whole exam situation, the line up will play a much bigger role in whether I am going, but the rumours are looking good. Hopefully it should be announced in the coming weeks.

I have to say, the GIAN lineup doesn't do anything for me. Not really my type, but it is the sort of thing that if I was offered a ticket, I would probably take it. I can't imagine HIM playing Earls Court, thats just, mad!

My ticket came in October! That's from Ticketmaster though.

Can't wait, but could be interesting with the first Live - if it's on March 24/25 that's the same Sunday as the Cardiff gig! :?

^
and the 24th is the Manchester gig... so I'm not alone in wanting the later weekend.

And I've had my ticket since mid-October as well :)

Enter Shikari are ****ing ****ing ****

Anyway, more plans for gigs at the moment XD.

Hatebreed are coming down to Portsmouth in April, so go see them, be intresting.
Also buying my Download ticket soon, with the lineup rumours looking intresting, rumoured bands are:
- Rammstein
- Rage Against The Machine
- Iron Maiden
- Aerosmith
- Machine Head
- Muse
And many more

However ****ing amazing that would be! I don't think it will happen. They said they are only reuniting for Coachella at the moment, but I suppose there is that small hope in me. My God, that would be the best thing ever. Full stop.

I think Maiden, Machine Head and NIN are the likely ones, althogh I can hope on Rammstein too. I've been checking the site like every day waiting for the lineup.

GIAN does seem a bit lame, a few good bands I want to see scattered all over the three days. Although I'll probably still be going on either Friday London or Saturday Birmingham, the day with HIM and Alexisonfire. Not sure what The Used are doing in the middle there, they're a bunch of arse.

Actually its now confirmed that they are playing a UK festival, but there is no confirmation to which it could be, could be Reading, could be Glastonbury or Download. Never know. Be better recieved at Glastonbury or Download me thinks.

Boohoo I want our 4 tickets to come

Where are you Will? Me and Kat have standing and ChaznKatie are seating block 114 row D.

Ooooh... NIN playing download... If that's true, then I'm there this year! Good looking line-up so far (and could be so much better if Maiden pull out ;) )

[edit] Ooooh... Fear Factory, CKY and Queens of the Stone age also rumoured. IF these 4 are on, I'm not missing it for the world! :D

 Linkage? If that is true I think I will... I don't know what I'll do, but it will be big! All of the stuff I've read on it though has been about Coachella only.

According to the main page for the festival, the announcement is in 6 days, so fingers crossed.
