Incident at Thorpe park 12/10/12

Today at the park their was a incident on storm surge which closed it for the rest of the evening from about 4/5 o'clock couldn't really see what had happened/was happening all I do know is that, police fire service (assume fires service as saw a fire crew jacket an helmet present at the incident) an ambulance crew was present also could see someone holding up an IV drip. I hope what ever happened the person(s) is ok!!
 
I heard they got their foot caught under the conveyor belt on the loading platform...
 
^Same here. I heard they had to cut the belt but I couldn't see evidence of that when we walked past it later in the evening.
 
Figures as they were saying about it was a technical fault so does add up but savage either way!!! If it was a public member then why the hell were they out the boat before being in the Station properly? As from what I could see the incident happened on the incline onto the loading bay
 
It looked like someone had got something trapped from the picture I saw. Fire service were on scene where you get in the boat. An air ambulance landed near the car park too.
 
Yeah saw all crewes present (fire,police,medical) and noticed a helicopter fly over head but at the time didnt put 2 and 2 together lol but i did also notice a IV drip being held up so the person must of been in some pain for them to do that!!!
 
Got to admit it, at 1st I thought it was a publicity stunt to advertise horror nights. Obviously this was not the case.

Hope the persons ok.
 
i saw this happen as i was on the boat before waiting too go up. the controller of the ride pressed the button for both conveyer belts before the lady was in the boat and she got her leg caught in the belt. staff just stood and looked at each other were useless!
 
^ Pathetic! If the kid had of been hurt you can guarantee the parents would have tried to sue and we would have seen a repeat of the "your park is a death trap" assault against the park like with Chessington.
 
It's true though. The kids what, 13? Go through his other videos if you feel like watching him 'take a ****' at a leisure centre.

Hopefully next time he does it at the top and is seriously injured. Might teach him some common sense.
