Injury on X-2 at Six Flags Magic Mountain

I know this thread is a little old, but was searching injuries on X2 because I hurt my head on the ride and was wondering the same thing. It was towards the end of the ride and my head slammed the back of the headrest, twice, really hard. I spent the rest of the late afternoon wondering, hoping if everything was alright. (Worried about brain swelling) My headache subsided however I have never been hurt or felt anything like that on a ride before. I thought about going to the park clinic and, or reporting it, but was a bit embarrassed; everyone else seem fine. The guys that rode right after me asked how it was, and I told them to watch out for the end. In all honesty it was pretty smooth and fun up until the last drop, spin jerk thing. I will never ride that one again. I will also call the park tomorrow just to report it. I feel they should get proper feedback.

I had the exact same thing happen to me as the last poster, and I too searched for similar cases on the internet. One of the people I was with acknowledged he had a headache after from the hits, but I instantly knew I had a mild concussion after the ride because I've had a few in the past. I have never hit my head so hard on a roller coaster and both hits were very painful in the front and back of my head. I also had and continue to have back pain after riding x2, especially when walking. I'm pissed that there is no warning about this ride because if I knew about the ending bumps I never would have risked getting another concussion.

Glad I found this. I was recently on X2 this past weekend and hit my head towards the end. It jerked pretty hard and bounced my head back and forth about 2 times. I had to push my head back to stabilize it and stop the bouncing. Its been a few days and I feel funny. Kind of like I'm swimming.

I feel like head injuries are more the purview of doctors at the hospital, rather than doctors on a forum?

Oh these people aren't doctors - they're lawyers scouring the web for their next bit lawsuit.

I left this thread open when it got bumped a few days ago, as I remember enjoying it before. :D

Gotta love the prescience of the OP, though. Putting "Maximum Force" as their favourite coaster five years before Maxx Force even opened. I presume the spelling difference is just a matter of branching timelines or something like that.

At what point will @Pokemaniac bust out their detective gear and see if the influx of posters are somehow related / linked to the OP?

I want to see another casino situation!

It's fairly easy to check their IPs, and all the single-post users in this thread seem to be independent of each other.

Gotta love how jjjones has simply replied "none" to the "Fave parks and coasters" profile questions when signing up, though. At least the others pretended to have found a park or coaster they're fond of.

Or maybe they've figured out how to use VPNs by now?
Judging by all the others, not really. Most of the spambots walk right into the traps, and the ones that make it to registration are usually really easy to tell apart from legitimate users.

But...but...but...they said they were injured? People wouldn't just *lie* on the internet? Surely not?

Please don't shatter my innocence like this. Next you'll be trying to tell me Father Christmas/Holiday isn't real!

Definitely real, met him as a child.

Wonder if he gets random calls asking about his recent Sleigh accident? 🤔🤔🤔
"Have you been hit by a one-horse open sleigh?
Were your reindeer injured and spooked?
Has your holly-jolly attitude been affected?

If so, you may have a valid claim. Call our 24/7 elfline on 030 1225 XMAS to speak to one of our team of dedicated claim elves about your case."
