Right, my coaster.

Fell Runner

This is a B&M terrain standup with 1 inversion and about 200ft height.

The storyline is basically your out for a jog that goes a bit quicker than usual.

Other stats are in Pictures below.

You have arrived on a tropical island. The natives there are friendly and help you with food and shelter. They also have words of warning regarding the forest running the length of the main island. They tell you of a terrible beast that can take on many forms. This creature the natives call Kupua is said to come out at night and strike at a moment's notice. You want to shrug it off as local legend but something deep inside you tells you that something about this island just isn't right. Can you survive the night and live to tell the tale?

Seriously, it would be quite hard to deliver anything as a prize it definitetly needs to be something virtual.

If the comp ends on 24th it might be worth asking Rach as I cant get it done by then due to ghosterforce. :)

First of all, I would just like o say that all the entries were very good, and I thank all of you for entering! You all did great and are awesome members of CF. I am happy that you took the time to enter this comptition. Thanks!

I decided to post the winner today, BTW.

Results!

CP10

-Station-9/10---Is was very well built, but I would have liked more theming in there and the queue.

-Realisim-9/10---The drop was unique, but I doun't think a drop like this would happen on a real wingrider.

-Layout-8/10---It was very realistic, but the twist/inclined loop, thing looked very rough.

-Theming-9/10---Very good. I really liked the water, and the dock.


OVERALL: 35/40

-Station-6/10---It wasn't really what I was looking for. The terrain was messy and it wasn't even sheltered. The tunnel at the beggining was VERY cool, though.

-Realisim-8/10---Not much to say, but, I drop like that just wouldn't happen on a stand up. It had a nice layout that would happen on a real coaster.

-Layout-7/10---The drop was a bit high, and those twists while dropping looked very rough. The chain was random, but that is not a big problem. It was a little too slow from 1:50-2:05 in the POV.

-Theming-6/10---You could have put in some trees and a river or something. It was scarce in theming and the storyline was almost non-existent.

OVERALL:27/40

-Station-9/10---I like the native hut looks and the station is very spacious. More theming in the queue and a building all around the queue would have been nice.

-Realisim-8/10---I was very B&M-y, but it took up alot of room.

-Layout-9/10---The in-line twist was a little random, and the train would probably be going a little fast through it. The S-Bend would have been better if it was after the brake run.

-Theming-9/10---It was nice, but it would have looked good if you put more around the outside of the station.

OVERALL: 35/40

So there is a TIE! I can't decide who to choose! reddude, or CP10! So, I will leave it to YOU.

Few things on my coaster:

1. The drop is that high due to the original theme was you were a skier and slipped off the Mountain.
2. I couldn't think of any suitable building style to put the station in.
3. The curves in the drop were the to stop it going into the mountain.

You said that so the skiing thing never went through my head. I didn't really understand the concept of your coaster.

If you did the skiing thing, you could have made the station themed to a ski chalet.
I don't really get your storyline and theming which is the reason to you got that grade.

I'm sorry, I think I was too harsh as well, and it is my first competition.
