I've heard they're hoping to expand the Battlefield Live attraction, so the old Knightmare space will either be part of the expansion - or a car park for it!

(They also still hope to build all those houses there)

I personally don't understand the appeal of building houses there, right next to the m6 and an active hotel and A Motorway services, I would of thought Retail would be a better option but then again the lack of (Legal) access from the m6 is the problem with that.

Most of the massive site is away from the motorway, the services and hotel are a buffer.
All leisure plans have vanished recently, owners are going all out for "change of use" planning for posh houses.
Council keep saying no.
