Wildfire will not open today because of technical problems.

Manufacturers have drawn attention to a risk of manufacturing defects on the part sitting in trains.

We have not detected any fault on our trains, but for us it is a matter of course, follow the instructions from the manufacturers of the track. We are very sorry for those who looked forward to going Wildfire today and the next few days and is working hard to move as quickly as possible to get off the track, but we anticipate that it will take at least 3-5 days.

I think that little hump before the drop is to control the speed of the long train so that the back seats don't get stupid ejector.
I'd say it's more of a safety implement and a way to use the coasters maximum height and potential speed without using magnetic fins which would affect the trains performance.
 
Kolmarden are stating(on FB and the main site) they are hoping to have it open to the public this weekend and that the replacement cylinders have successfully been shipped.

Kolmarden time of writing have not received the new cylinders from our supplier Rocky Mountain in the United States. Therefore Wildfire will be closed during the Midsummer weekend. We plan to premiere early next week.

Translation;
Running order soon! At lunch today, delivered the new cylinders to wildfires säkerhetsbyglar here to Kolmarden and attraktions team will spend the afternoon with to mount them on the train. If everything goes smoothly, it is then just runs left before our guests can experience the world's best roller coaster in the wood.
 
Kolmarden just let me know that they have installed the new cylinders and will run testing this evening, should open tomorrow if tests go well.
Most likely will update further on fb/blog tonight.

Chris, let me know when this happens so I can show up and hold the camera. I will literally tell work I have the sharts if it means this is happening an hour from me and I get to see it. If you need a place to stay you can crash at my place, Emily and I can safely say there's enough room for two to cuddle on the rollaway bed downstairs. ;)
