Is this Gerst? Track looks very Gerst like

I can see why you’d think that, but based off Lagoon’s recent record, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t some crafty in-house contraption!

The track is being done by Intermountain Lift but the coaster is an ART Engineering coaster, very similar to Wonder Mountain's guardian (at least in terms of lift and ride structure). The ride has been designed in house.

According to RCDB, this coaster is no longer slated for 2021, but ... 2023.

Bump, painting has been taking place and Primordial seems to be in a pretty good place to open in 2023. It looks great. Some track and even structure is yet to be installed.

What an ugly mountain! It is like the Gebirgsbahn in Phantasialand which has been build in 1975. Nowadays the mountains and rocks that are build by Universal rocks and some Chinese companies look far more real than this. As far I can judge from these pictures at least.

I don't think it helps that it's still very much a WIP and it's currently sat on empty dirt with no trees etc.

EDIT; Ok so this is scheduled for a 1am local time unveil on Wednesday. Rest assured, this is definitely coaster related.

So to clarify since the initial trademark wasn’t a final decision at the time, Primordial will indeed be named Primordial.


Great to see that this finally being announced, this project has been talked about since I first joined the community in 2017.

ART Engineering has been shipping a lot of hardware to Lagoon over the last few months;


Here's a closer look at the most recent one from early February, now 32,500 KG across 29 containers is HUGE, especially for a coaster that's already fully built. One can only speculate as to what this contained...
