Haven't followed much in the past few weeks - Is the queue for the Smiler so long because of low capacity, because of bad operation or because it's just a famous ride?

I waited 2 1/2 hours for Maverick when it opened in 2007. I loved it so much, I got back in line immediately after. I've waited 2 1/2 hours a few times for various rides, but I can't recall waiting any longer than that for anything.
