Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Surely anything that overhangs is going to have supports that touch the ground?

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

I am going to wait until I get RCT3 Platinum to start though. It is in the post an should be here soon.
Oh yeah, I second Colossus' question.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Josh - Yes
Collosus - No
Joesh - Sadly as this is round 2 of the competition you can't enter, but there are 2 other RCT3 comps you can enter on the forum.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Like mine!
And mouse, are you going to be judging on the block's atmosphere as well, or just the rides?

Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Can coaster track overhang as much as we want it to? Or is there a limit?

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Excellent :) I entered a competition on CF just like this many years ago, only it was a limited space, but no overhanging.

I made a Windows loading screen logo with fireworks for the loading bar. The coasters and rides were rubbish, but it looked great from a distance

If anyone wants inspiration (no copying :p ):

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Whoops! Almost missed this thread. I better make this somewhat of a priority if I want to advance/win...

In this challenge, atmosphere, theming etc. is probably more importaint than the rides, although the rides should still be good. :)

If you see how much the red coaster overhangs:

Around that is fine, too much more won't be that good, but it is still allowed.
Basically try not to make it overhang at all, but if it does that will be fine.
Hope that explains it. :)

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Any limit on number of rides/coasters?

Also, can you define "kiddie" coaster?

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

^ No limit, and kiddie coasters are basically small coasters aimed at children, like big apples.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Mine is a virginia reel.

Also, I'm done now but I think I will wait a few more days to post so that I don't reveal anything too early and also in case I come up with some new tweaks.

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

Maybe not a wild mouse as the 'big' coaster, unless it's big one, then thats fine!

Re: Mouse's RCT3 Competition Round 2

No the mouse is the small one obviously, its very Rattlesnake (chessie) like, just wondered if that would be ok as it potentially could be a family coaster.
