Movie Park Germany | Movie Park Studio Tour | Intamin Multi Dimension Coaster | 2021

Hmm, I wonder if it's going to sit on the support grid like a traveling coaster, or are they going to add another layer of concrete over top?
Like VonRolland said, it's very likely final. I think if the intent was for the support to be fixed to the floor it'd been designed that way from the start, like with Vogel Rok at Efteling as an example.

Probably used the grid system along the bottom to stop them having to pour/create so many footers. Especially on a already poured concrete floor. Using a grid system I guess means it can spread the load more evenly and ensuring its stable, Id say its cheaper then ripping up the floor and pouring loads of individual footers.

On this picture you can see the old Ice Age hall from the top, where the coaster will be located in.

Red is going to be the station.

Green is where the coaster goes out of the hall for the outdoor curve...

Blue is where they made the hall a bit bigger and black is going to be the last element before the very long brakerun (orange) goes back to the station on the other side of the hall.

I started a NoLimits project too where i try to build the coaster as good as possible.

I am very excited for this coaster but because of the long brakerun and the long outdoor curve on a 532m (1745ft) im not sure can become a nice varied layout but we will see :)

Forgive my stupidity, but how sure are we that the 'very long brake run' isn't actually a launch section?

If it is a brake run, it still makes a certain amount of sense, as it seems like there will be many show scenes and stuff whilst on the ride. But yes, it'll be interesting to see how much actual 'coaster' section we get.

A Christmas treat from Movie Park...

I'm in some ways surprised how open they're being with the theming and indoor stuff in general. Not really complaining though as I'm sure there's parts they'll keep more of a surprise.

Supposedly a full layout prediction based on the pictures we have so far.
From the station a dark ride section (orange) to the 360° turntable which turns the train backwards into the first launch sending you around a short curve (green). Then back into the turntable to be turned forwards again to go into another dark ride section leading to the second launch and final longer coaster section (including the outdoor turn over the queue). Blue then is the brake run.
