What's new

New attractions at Paultons Park

They could potentially add a Titan track GCI that could invert. I'd love to see that, and think a GCI would be a perfect fit for Paultons. They are really fun exciting rides, but not so daunting to terrify the younger guests. Something slightly larger than Heidi or White Lightning with a single inversion would be great.

Agree totally, hopefully a GCI. Gravity group coasters seem to get rough very quickly so an airtime packed coaster would be ideal for Paultons. Not bothered about inversions as thats all the UK seems to have coaster wise. There has been no confirmation of the viking video relating to a coaster having an inversion, so a woodie could well be on the cards.
Whilst not confirmed, the logo did deliberately turn 180 and finish upside-down... so either a coaster with inversions or a flat that goes over surely?

My bet is an inverting flat ride because they just had a new coaster not long ago.
I'd imagine an inverting flat ride could come to the park anyway as a supporting ride even if a new coaster comes to the park.

Their last coasters, Storm Chaser and Farmyard Flyer opened in 2021 and 2022 which I'd say next year is the right time for some form of coaster. 😊

Could be a Gerstlauer sky fly or sky roller. Gives you the option to invert. Something like Pixarus at Toverland which is well themed.
The area they are building on is also big enough that even if they did build a woodie, there would still be plenty of space for other rides. Maybe why they didn't build one in Tornado Springs as a descent wooden coaster would take up a larger footprint.

It's an anonymous forum. If you have some legitimate inside information that you can share then that's great. If sharing it would identify you or breach some rules of disclosure then don't but cryptic teases with no substance add nothing to a conversation.

That would be fantastic and would be perfect for the park - I think it would suit Lost Kingdom very well if they need to add something to that area for the older ones.

It being an interactive ride also really good for families.

From my understanding of what the headliner coaster actually is I wouldn’t expect inversions.
It’s fairly obvious to anyone who’s been paying attention, really. Not that it was originally meant for Paultons though, they just had an opportunity.
I'm not sure the park would go out of their way to show their logo going upside down without something going upside down at least once.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a single inversion coaster though like Mandrill Mayhem.

Paultons Park have never bought rides secondhand however this could be a Siren's Curse for Cedar Point situation where it was meant for another park and Paultons picked it up after the original buyer pulled out.

If it is, I don't think it's on RCDB.

No, I think they are getting an inverted coaster with a launch of some kind. They don't have one yet. Maybe a woodie as a smaller side attraction, but I'm not sure.

What if it's a repeat of Lost Kingdom with two coasters. I think it's safe to assume that there will be an inversion of some sort in this new area.

That would be wild! Is there any indication of the budget they have?

I know saying "that's too many coasters" isn't in the spirit of being an enthusiast but i'd personally prefer one big world class coaster in a well themed area with supporting rides.

So just saw on Paultons website they are after a construction project manager, looks like a great job if your interested but in the info there are some things to see.

Tornado Springs was i think around £12m, so they are at least thinking of spending £15m on a future project.
