Carowinds was kind enough to put out a survey today, featuring two items of note that were more or less mentioned here.
Mack Water Coaster
The same concept was also shown in a survey for Cedar Point, but the idea proposed here seems to include a launch and a pair of "high five" banks similar to Twisted Colossus. Launch seems like a cool idea to space out block zones on a ride model that's never really been known for intricate layouts. Not a final product of course, but nice all the same to know their thought process.

Super Flume
Definitely a WhiteWater West product. It's a little known fact that they've taken up the old Hopkins log flume line, and a slightly better known fact that they're Cedar fair's preferred waterpark partner. Plus
Super Flume is their model name, of course.
Layout seems to be monstrous and larger than their previous flume products. The layouts vary but there's definitely some turntables and nasty drops in there. However it looks ugly and more like something that Cedar Fair and Intamin would have done in the 2000's. Mixed opinions on this one.

Of course, provided that Carowinds does go with either one of these ideas and not the bloody B&M Giga Dive, it's all still blue sky and long term.
2025 will be a significant Camp Snoopy project, and given that and the timing/scale of this I would expect 2027. There's the uncleared rapids site up north by Fury, but relation to 2025 this is the land that they have to play with on the former Dino's Alive site;

Other ideas drummed up were a Zamperla family thrill launch coaster and a stupid B&M Giga Dive, but Carowinds seems to have been thinking of water rides beforehand. Given that the 2025 coaster
will also be a family launch coaster, for the sake of variety and maybe not spending bucketloads on a second giga coaster, water rides sound more likely. I look forwards to how this plays out long-term.
