New Rides Planned for Freizeitpark Plohn (Mack PowerSplash(?) / ART Wild Swing / Unknown Drop Tower)

I was thinking this could be very good for parks where height could be an issue.

I believe the shortest water coaster is Poseidon at Europa Park at 75ft.

Hopefully could get to see a water coaster in the UK 🤩

Yes, we may well be looking at the Paultons ride, and I could also see Alton Towers getting one. One might even be the replacement for the Log Flume at Great Yarmouth. ;)

This might be the first time, I ever said so truthfully, but this looks slow... painfully slow. The layout also doesn't add anything. Chiapas looks better and more thrill-focused than this wannabe coaster.

The trouble I had with Plohn on my visit a few years back was that whilst it seemed like a good park on paper, much of it felt tacky, cheap or otherwise a bit naff.

Whilst again this seems like a fine addition on paper, I hope that we get something which lives up that expectation in execution and reality.

I was disappointed with it as well. That was before Dynamite was added though, so along with this new thing there are a couple of things worth revisiting for.

Thinking about it, it was really El Toro I was disappointed with. I'd heard nothing but glowing reports and found it overwhelmingly mediocre.

I was there a week before Dynamite opened, foolishly thinking that 12th May would be "Spring enough" for the originally advertised 'Spring opening'. So maybe I'm a bit petty in my thoughts

The Dynamite area looked nice enough, but not a saving grace aesthetically. Also agree on El Toro, bang on.
