New rides @ small parks

Tykkimäki amusement park in Finland is replacing their old Mack Powered coaster with a brand new SBF Visa Ultra model of the Family coaster line for the 2026 season.

^ It could be worse, they could've replaced it with a figure 8 SBF spinner or something smaller, but this is still kinda sad to replace a classic Mack powered coaster (especially one that hadn't gotten badly rough) with something like this.

But in the Finnish community well before the announcement we were pretty sure it was going to be an SBF just because their previous ride acquisitions were also SBF. It's just that SBFs coasters aren't as well refined as their flats, so let's hope they've increased production standards since some of their more tragic family coasters like Verrücktwärts. And also the park's probably not rolling in cash anyways.

A Peanuts-themed indoor amusement park in Beijing will be getting China's first Cloud Coaster. The single-rail family suspended coaster will feature 2 lift hills, and will glide along 260 feet of track at 21 mph. It's scheduled to open at the unnamed park in late 2026. Source

I'm gonna try something new and do rundowns of rides that have officially opened each weekend in this thread. Might give some attention to stuff that usually wouldn't get it, and some life to this thread. We're getting into the Spring where lots of new stuff is ready for riders;

Now opened as of this past weekend;

  • Antique Children's Carousel @ St Louis City Museum... it was manufactured in the 1920's but has spent decades in storage, is strictly for children under 54"

  • Nautilus SBF Visa spinning coaster, wacky worm layout @ Zoomarine Algarve

  • Technical Park's Super Miami and Pegasus thrill rides @ North American Midway Entertainment, the corporate fair provider in the USA. Both of these are currently making their debut at Miami-Dade in Florida

  • Zero Gravity Round-Up @ Classic Amusement. The ride made its debut at Dublin, California's St. Paddy's Day fair and is a factory fresh version of the midway's previous attraction.

Looks like a new MACK coaster for Leolandia in Italy. Called Reversum!
Little update on the Sierra Sidewinder clone at Leolandia:

That looks fab, love the themed tent station

Adventureland Long Island has finally gotten Wave Twister opened and with that RES has gotten at least one of their new prototypes open!

Looks like an alright family ride, I was originally expecting the gondolas to spin more but it seems like their rotation is directly connected to the spin of the arm they're connected to, so they always stay in the same position.

Is it a cred? 🙃

I normally don't count Disk-Os (even the ones with the camelback), but this is getting me to reconsider...

Valkyrie at Festyland is now open:
