What's new

New rides @ small parks

Noticed on CC that Hayling Island Funland is getting the Runaway Train from Gulliver's Warrington. Klondike has gone and been sold to someone in Ireland and will be on the travelling circuit.

Skegness Pleasure Beach have purchased a brand new ride called "Freak out", which I'm guessing is a KMG afterburner.

Just as long as it isn't another cred, I never want to go back there.

So the Wild Mouse from Gulliver's Warrington has gone down south to Hayling Island, replacing their Pinfari looper which has been sold to a travelling showman in Ireland.

Why would they call a KMG Afterburner "Freak Out"? Wouldn't it be more likely that they're calling it "Freak Out" because they're getting a KMG Freak Out? :?

^ Well "Freak Out" looks exactly like an Afterburner, so.....
Sorry, I thought you knew that a KMG Freak Out is a smaller version of their Afterburners. A Freak Out is not only smaller in size and holds less riders (16 compared to 24) than an Afterburner, it also swings from front to back instead of left to the right.

Oh right, didn't know they actually named them differently, that's odd.

And they actually look a bit taller to me than the standard Afterburner.

Clarence Pier in Portsmouth is installing a large ferris wheel dubbed 'Solent Eye', looks like it's arrived for assembly this weekend.

Not a new ride, but too small to deserve its own topic.

White Lightning at FSA got a really neat LED Lighting package. Mako Madness has a video showing it off, and it looks great!

I'm a huge lighting junkie, so this thing is like an RMC testing video to me. My only complaint is the lack of lights on one rail, and the spots along the tracks.
