NEXT FILM WHICH I NEVER HEARD OF IS...... ROOM 1408 with Samual L Jackson and John Cusack. Keep you posted!

I think we had a brief chat about that somewhere else (CF I mean, not me and you  ).

It's based on a short story by Stephen King, I think from his collection - Everything's Eventual, but it may have been another.

I thought that the story was pretty unremarkable, so I've got pretty low hopes for the film to be honest. Another "Secret Window, Secret Garden".

Yeah, it is in Everything's Eventual.

I haven't read it, but so far the film looks promising (well, as promising as a King film can be), and the general reviews seem to be that it's one of the better King-films (although, even those are generally toss, Green Mile and Shawshank apart).

So, yeah, I'm looking forward to it just because it can't possibly be as boring as Secret Window.

I watched Wild Hogs yesterday, which my stepdad rented. It's definitely not my type of movie but since I really had nothing better to do I decided to pop a squat and watch it.

It's sort of weird because I can't decide if I liked it or not. It was kind of dumb and immature, but it had its funny spots, even though some bits were very fake and far fetched.

However, I didn't have high expectations and I didn't get an amazing quality movie in return. It didn't bore me to death though, so that's a good thing.

I'll give it a 6/10, maybe a 6.5/10.

Saw The Bourne Identity last night. Top film. Much better than most of the recent Bond's 9/10

Also managed to finally watch Saw. Really weird movie. Not as gruesome as most people say it is. But still Awesome. 10/10

Well, the original Saw really is less gruesome than the others in my opinion. Saw is all about the twists and stuff, whereas the other ones are a lot of gore and not as shocking, really.

They're all really good though. I own all three.

I watched Bourne Identity for the first time 2 days ago and I thought it was really good and better than I expected. I did'nt understand the whole film though but overall I say 9.5/10.

I watched Bourne Supremecy for the first time there a few minutes ago and thought it was really good aswell and I understood it more than the 1st one. I am not sure which is better the 1st or 2nd one. I think the first one is a bit better because there was a bit more action and stuff. 9/10

Hopefully I will see the 3rd one this week :p .

Well just finished watching "ROOM 1408" and all i can say is "PILE OF CROC".

It lasted about 1hr40 mins and went nowhere. I won't tell any of you the plot as not to spoil it for the one's that wanna see it.

I never really understood what was going on or what it was actually about but maybe it was because i never read the Stephen King book that a few people have said it was based on called "Everthing's Eventual".

The film, if meant to be scary, wasn't. I've been more scared watching bit's of Teletubbie's :D .

Overall i give it a 4/10. So there's my brief opinion and if anyone want's to know a bit more detail about it PM me.

Superbad

Finally saw Superbad last night. Lived up and beyond my expectations for a comedy movie. Best comedy of 2007... no... Best comedy of the decade. That's better.

Extremely outrageous, hilarious, Michael Cera was great. I especially liked the Fogel parts where he was with the cops (although the movie is kinda vague on what happens to him). I also think Superbad deserves the award for "most F-bombs since Scarface" and "most dongs outside a porn film."

If you love film, hell, if you love comedies, this is a MUST SEE.

Went to the cinema again today and went to see Bourne Ultimatum. I thought it was brilliant and I'm quite surprised that it's still brilliant. Usually sequels are **** but all 3 Boune films are great.

It's a good thing I saw the other 2 during the week because there is a good bit from the 2nd film in it and one of my friends was completely lost.

I dont know if it's the best one, they are all really good. This is the least confusing. A great film: 10/10

I saw Dude, Where's My Car the other day, just because it had Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott who can be quite funny.

Anyway, the storyline was f**ked up. So many random scenes, like when they kiss, and when this tranny demands money and follows them everywhere.

Then they end up in some arcade or something with some weird rubix cube converted gadget that all these groups of people seem to want. I just seemed to forget that his car was actually missing.

6/10. Worth the watch I suppose.

I watched How Green Was My Valley last night which is like an old black and white movie set around a Welsh mining town and a really nice family.

I thought the movie itself was quite good. I had to stick the captions on because the sound quality was really crap, but the characters in the movie were likeable, the setting was nice, and the storyline was decent.

Spoiler alert

It did have me in tears a bit near the end when the little boy went down into the mine and was calling for his dad, who he found, but it ended up that the dad died right after the kid found him because his whole body was pretty much stuck under all the rubble from when the mine collapsed.

Spoiler Alert Done

It really made me think of what it would be like to live in those days but I'll obviously never know.

So overall it was a good movie, worth 8/10, no more and no less.

On the plane to and from Turkey we watched two films (and Shrek, which I'd seen and was actual ****e this time).

Spiderman 3: Toss. What the hell was the point in the Sand-Man other then to be a burden? What was with emo-Spidie? Why was it so pointless?

Blades of Glory: Funny, but not too funny. It felt a little try-hard, and wanted to be something like Dodgeball, and just wasn't. It also felt like Will Ferrel just assumed he's funny no matter what, and stopped trying. It was OK though, like, a 6/10. A nice way to waste away 90mins, but nothing exciting.

Anyone watched knocked up yet?

I'm pissed off with spendin' money at the cinema just to watch another crappy film.

^ My friend saw it, said it was crap. And I think that's the same friend that thoroughly enjoyed the Bratz Movie.

Oh dear! Maybe worth a trip to the shiver me timbers pirate ship to get me a copy then?

Battle Royale is all kinds of absolutely awesome.

That's about all there is to say, other then I found it hard to keep track of the characters cause the names are silly and they all look the same.

Still, ****in' awesome.

Balls of Fury

As much as I like Reno 911! (this movie was written by the guy that plays Dangle on the show) This movie sucked balls. The only good part? Trudy having a cameo as a dancer in the beginning and Dangle playing the German guy. Other than that, it was a pretty bad comedy that I think would have fared better as a movie on Comedy Central. 2/10.

As a matter of fact, I theater hopped once in the middle of the movie to Superbad, but god-damn ushers hiding in the shadows. :x

I just got back from seeing Superbad, which pretty much means I just got back from pissing myself with laughter for two hours straight. Seriously, this movie, despite having a fairly immature and stupid storyline, is one of the funniest I've seen. From a penis drawing disorder, to McLovin, it really is a must see!

I'd give it a 9/10!

Last night saw a film called Seraphim Falls, it stars Liam Neson and Pierce Brosnand. It's a great film becuase it makes you think, the plot isn't spoon-fed to you, you have to think about what it's saying. I think its still in cinemas

Saw Knocked Up yesterday. Superb, really funny IMO. Good to see Xcellerator at the begginning lol.

Saw all three american Pies this week as well. All three superb, but number 2 is the best. Glueing his hand to his dick ROFL

^Yeah knocked up is a good film! I forgot about it having a coaster at the beginning lol.

Also I want to see Superbad, made by the same people as Knocked up, so should be equally as good, if not better :D
