"Now Showing"

It's a good film, but no-where near as good as Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead.

I'm sorry but why compare to those two films? The only connection Run fatboy run has with those two classics is that it stars an actor who was in those films. Yet peeps seem to think that Simon Pegg made the film...lame. Of course RFR is going to be worse, it hasn't got the amazing talent of Edgar Wright, instead you get the worse character from Friends directing and Pegg making a fool of himself, urgh.

I didn't say he made the film.
I like all films with Simon Pegg in it. That was the only comparison between the films I was making.

I was trying to say that it's diferent from the other films he has done. Shaun and Fuzz were both gory and filmed in that fast swing camera movement, while RFBR was filmed at a slower pace and took it's time in telling the story. :)

I saw Clerks II the other night on sky and I haven't laughed so much in ages. Very rude, very crude and as disgusting as anything. Jay and Silent Bob rule! 10/10

I watched a favourite last night, French Kiss.

Despite wondering what the hell went wrong with Meg Ryan cause she's amazing in this, I LOVE it, I've seen it tonnes of times, and it's still funny, sweet, emotional and just wonderful.

I reccomend it to anyone that wants to see a romantic comedy that is actually funny, not just gross or stupid.

Rambo

Well.. if you want to see someone die, this is your movie. Imagine 300, with less talking, and more intense deaths.

Awesome.

But, the acting was... Stallone.. and the plot was silly.. 7/10.. purely for the killing tho.. because it was bad ass.

Just watched superman 4 for the first time since i saw it in cinema when i was 12.

it's like the best movie ever!

Just saw Ratatouille.

Awesome, as are all the Pixar movies. It wasn't so much funny, just incredibly clever with a great storyline.

9/10.

I havn't seen that movie in ages, I so need it on DVD because Channel 4 seem to have stopped showing it (used to be on like 3 times a year), bern.

Eight Legged Freaks

It was on television last night, so I turned it on while I was on the computer. I think these movies are generally pretty stupid, and this one is no exception. Arachnaphobia is far better, in my opinion, even though that's not exactly a top notch film either.

4/10

I can go with that.

The part where he ripped the guy's throat was fudging awesome.

I also saw Semi-Pro at the weekend.

It was your typical Will Ferrell flick. If you like him, you'll love it, if you don't like him, you'll hate it. I thought it was a fun enough way to spend 90 minutes, so it can have a 7/10 too.

While I agree with a 4/10 for it, it's a superb film. It's just utterly rubbish - but mean to be. See, if a film can succeed in being well made rubbish, when that's exactly what it was meant to be - then it's a good film. It's when a film is meant to be good, and is rubbish, or is meant to be rubbish, but is also badly made - then it fails utterly.

As with Final Destination - file under "mindless entertainment" :)

The Shawshank Redemption joins my list of best movies.

Top 10 (Not in Order):
The Departed
Crash
Juno
The Shawshank Redemption
We Are Marshall
Borat
Saw
Remember The Titans
Super Troopers
Live Free Or Die Hard

Your seriously ****ing joking with Crash right!? Its so pretentious that film, just deliberatley launching into a racist storyline every two seconds, then somehow it all works out, **** film.

I saw juno last week.

Overrated pile of crap that was.

it raised the odd smile.. But was nowhere near as laugh out loud hilarious i was led to believe.

Instantly forgettable (even for a teen movie)

4/10

You got that one right! Still not as bad as the Simpsons Movie though.

Almost that is one of the worst top 10 films list I think I have ever seen. No offense but I think you have only listed 2/3 good films in that entire list (well Borat is ok too, but still doesn't deserve to be in a top 10).

EDIT: Oh yeah, I actually watched a film last night. Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest on Blu-ray. I like this film, my only problem being Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly, they just can't act....well (I mean they are in a film where they are among some of the best actors on screen). The action sequences are good, its funny, the special effects are awesome and the story is quite original, also has one of the best film scores.

I enjoyed it, so I don't know why everyone else doesn't....4/5

Yeah, I know what you're saying, Furie. Any movie about giant spiders probably wasn't meant to be serious, but at least Arachnaphobia caused me to have the "creepy crawlies" if you want to put it that way (in other words I couldn't stop itching all night).

Clam, while I agree that Juno is overrated, I think it was still a good movie. It was funny in a lot of parts, I loved her attitude, and it also had a serious side to it.

Since Almost made a top ten movie list, I'm bored, so I want to as well! Don't laugh at it either.

1- Wizard of Oz
2- Labyrinth (Jim Henson's)
3- The Green Mile
4- Rain Man
5- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
6- Misery
7- Pan's Labyrinth

A few others, in no order:

Miracle on 34th Street
Rent
Philidelphia
Narnia
