Opinions on Six Flags America?

READ THIS: I might be going to SFA next year. And given I have been going to 4 theme parks my whole life, and want a new park to try out in my area (even going to a complete garbage park would be fun bc it is new to me)? Also, how is SROS?

Its highlight coaster is Apocalypse, previously Iron Wolf at SFGAm, B&M's first coaster, a stand-up model. Never rode it even though I was there right before it was removed but I hear it hurt to no boundaries. Quite possibly the crappiest Six Flags park in the nation, but I guess getting to ride the first B&M is kind of cool.

But then again I've never visited the park.

Same, small park, no shade, a layout made in RCT2. Ride of Steel is the worst hyper i've ridden, Roar gave me a head injury, Batwing was uncomfortable, Wild One was old as ****, and apocalypse was by far the worst B&M I've ridden. Jokers Jinx, and Mind Eraser were the highlights, and when one of your best coasters is a SLC you know you have issues.

I hope thats enough to steer you away....

I live 45 minutes from the park and I haven't even bothered going, with a season pass, and free parking. THAT should tell you something...

Why do you have a season pass to a park you've never visited?

I never understand the hate that 6FA gets. I've never had a bad time there.

Best park in the world, OMG? No, of course not. But not the worst, either.

Really I am looking for some new creds that I can afford going to, and to have fun! (If I am able to afford Hersheypark, trust me that is way higher on my list of "want to go to"s)

As a major park it's really, really bad, but I've been to much worse seaside parks and stuff.

If you haven't been though you should obviously go there. The Vekoma flyer is quite a rare coaster type and I thought theirs was pretty good actually. Superman is probably the worst Intamin Mega out there, but it's still better than a Morgan or something <///3.

Go and get the creds though!

^Six Flags season pass.. for SFGAdv? :p

Season passes for six flags parks are good at any park yeah. Next year though I'm getting my pass from SFA because it's dirt cheap compared to other ones (Great Adventure's is like $10 more...).

Same for me! BUT if it's a new park and in your area that you've never visited there's really no reason not to visit?

Fact is that they got some decent coasters as well! Superman has unpleasant restraints and an unimaginative layout but provides some airtime, a fun coaster but still the "worst" hyper I've been on. Apocalypse was really fun! Not at all as painful as people were making it out to be, and A LOT better than Green Lantern at SGAdv!! Last but not least they actually got a coaster I'm considering to refer as "great"; namely Joker's Jinx! I loved both of the spaghetti bowls during the US live, great Premier rides :--D

This topic has me thinking that there should be a "Worst Parks" or "Worst Park Experiences" topic.
I might start one, or whoever can should at some point
