Wow, it looks well themed!

I think this could have real potential! As weak as Uncharted’s on-ride theming is, the actual hardware is absolutely excellent, so if this coaster is paired with some decent theming as the rendering suggests, I think Parc Asterix are onto a winner!
 
Parc Asterix have such a great line up already, and its so great to see them continually investing. This looks like such a great fit for the park!
 
The theme is confusing. I see a modern day tube, some roman soldiers. Weird buildings. How are they going to link it all together is my question

It doesn't make sense per se but it's typical for the Asterix series, although more contrast between the historical, the fantastical and the modern than usual. The ride is presumably based on the actual series where they go to Londinium and it does include references to more modern Britain. Pégase Express has references to modern train infrastructure, except the train is being pulled by a mythical pegasus, this just takes it to the next level I suppose.
 
Really excited for this area re-development. Like others have already said, Uncharted at Port Aventura is great but needed to be themed inside, this totally corrects that mistake.

I love all the fun puns and stories in the theming at Asterix and from the concept art I can already tell the Piccadilly Circus and Camden areas are going to be full of amusing details.

Nice to see the interactive dark ride looks like it'll have a lot of physical theming, hopefully there's an animatronic or two.
 
I can't wait to check this one out.

Having done my first visit to Parc Asterix this year I was pleasantly surprised by their line-up but did feel that there was a major dark ride missing and also that this area of the park was a little dated. Glad to see they're sorting both those issues out!

Am I right in thinking that Londinium isn't the only new project announced for this park? I could be totally wrong, but seem to remember thinking that Parc Asterix are also looking to build a new hotel somewhere? I noticed there was a massive construction site next to La Cite Suspendue & Goudirix - could be totally unrelated however.

Yep, lots going on in the next few years. Androland has another article for the changes coming to the park up till 2028 - Link

The wave swinger, dingy boat ride and the circus restaurant are becoming part of the Egypt area for next year.

The Greek area is getting a new restaurant and some family rides for 2027. The new hotel under construction (I also visited this year, it looks massive compared to their previous hotels) is due to open 2027.

Then Londinium for 2028.
