Parc Asterix |"Oz'Iris"| B&M Invert

First Drop is usually good for getting stuff right, so I'd have a lot of trust in that.

Looks like a fun design, nice to see something a bit different from the usual B&M inversion layout.
 
Latest news on the project is that someone found the Construction
Permit and it says that its an Inverted Coaster .

No, it's a "MAGIX.FRETED COASTER"...
 
I've been searching a French fan site forum for the park and it would appear that during December a LOT of work was going on. A mass of trees were taken down and apparently this is to make room for the coaster. The area looks absolutely massive.

However I'm confused as I thought it was meant to be located between Goudrix and Zeus? This is behind the tiny kids credit and the spinny dingy ride, a completely different area of the park.

You say a lot of has taken place, yet I think this is moving quite slow for a 2011 opening, unless its already announced that its to open around summer 2011?

you right by saying that it wont be ready for next summer . There is still no fondation yet .

We know for sure that the New Inverted Coaster will be seen from The A1 freeway . And that would be AMAZING !!!!

IF the layout shown on the First Drop Magazine is right then this is going to be the best inverted coaster in nothern Europe .

I know Nemesis got its own fans but this one would be very different anyway .

Wait and see !!!
 
Well I hope it does open this year because, going to Disneyland in October, this would make it the perfect excuse to go.

But, slow and steady progress seems to be what they want. Just OPEN THIS BAD BOY THIS YEAR!
 
Well judging by the fact they've only just cleared the land unless they're bloody quick about it I doubt it won't open this year...
 
I always expected it to open in 2012 due to the lack of construction. The fansite I got the pics from seem to say 2012 too.
 
^ You said when you posted them pics that A LOT of work was going on in Decemeber, so if they keep that up, I can see it opening by summer 2011.
 
They should get a new coaster! Tonnerre de zeus is really good, but goudurix really puts the image of the park down! a new coaster would be great! :--D
