Phantasialand | Taron | Intamin launched

Waiting for them to announce an opening date so I can book flights etc...

Hopefully early July or sooner!
 
I'm here July 2nd so really hopeful that it is open then. Every update just gets me more and more excited for this. <3
 
The coaster itself looks terrific. I'm a little concerned about the scenery and theme though. With not that long to go until opening it still looks pretty drab and lifeless to me. To be honest I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be? It's just loads of grey rock and brown wooden huts.
 
Wow, it's faster than I expected! Looks like it will be great fun, very snappy and should be some good moments of airtime!
 
Looking good, I love how compact it is with the theming, cannot wait to get to Phantasialand and ride this.
 
Phantasialand have also done a testing video of Raik. This is a few days old, but no ones posted it so...

It looks really fun, especially dipping an diving under Taron. Train looks great too!
 
^Love how they've also thought to theme the wheels on the train! Just makes me want to get back to Phantasialand as soon as!
 
Love the drop into the tunnel, so much. It's a shame the interior of the tunnel isn't themed with effects (by the look of it) as I thought it would do, it just seems very open. Still, looks fab.
 
just looked at ryanair flights from stansted to cologne - all saturdays in july are sold out for some reason... ;)

Just imagine what it will be like when they announce an opening date!!
 
I've been missing updates from Taron :(
This video shows the whole area. I always underestimate how large Klugheim is and find it difficult to comprehend the level of detail the park has gone into on such a mammoth site.
However, it's the most restless video I've watched in a long time as it's basically a s**tload of vines stapled together.

Fan chatter seems to be going a little quiet but something near where the chiapas area path will enter the area has had some work done, leading them to speculate when it'll open. July seems to be the latest theory but I wouldn't place bets on that.
