The park uploaded this to their Facebook page, anyone have any idea what it is?

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Was there any text with the photo?

Could be anything, climbing frames, coffee counter, flat ride.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Oh they just said something like "look what we had delivered today".

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

It doesn't look very coastery, lack of rails and curved sections. At first glance it looked like one of those single track rides like the porn ponies/pony trekking things but they have one of those already.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Looks like the supports for a Pinfari coaster. Its a pole with a scaffold "flag" at top. Could be anything really.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Anyone sold an old Drop Tower of some description recently?

edit - Jolly Rodger is still a thing though isn't it... maybe some kind of Junior one.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

The only thing which is making me think possible coaster is the fact that there is a rubber section on each of those pieces of metal, the only time I have seen similar things before is on Schwarzkopf coasters......

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Doesn't look anything like Knightmare if that's what you're implying. Doesn't look like a coaster at all really. New ladder attraction for 2015?! ;p

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

There was once plans to extend the log flume to make for a longer experience - I'm not saying that's this, but... I wouldn't rule it out.

As much as I wish they had purchased Knightmare, this is not what I was implying, just that Schwarzkopf coasters are the only ones I have seen with rubber "shock" mounts for track....

I really have no idea what it could be, but it is safe to say, whatever it is they need to do a hell of a lot of work to make it look presentable!

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

That's not track. My guess is it's some kind of frame for something pretty retro.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

I'd maybe say a large tent for a performance space? The park are definitely doing well at keeping us guessing, which is nice.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Yeah, that was sort-of my guess from the first photo.

It's a lovely social media campaign but I think we're braced for, what us thrill enthusiasts would consider to be, a damp squib. Still, investment, investment, investment. It's the only way forward.

Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills

Yeah I ain't expecting anything more than a dated flat ride (Going by the 3 pics so far), even though that kinda goes against what they've been doing of late.

I've only been posting the pics in here incase anybody recognised it.
