I don't want to sound rude but those photos were posted a few days ago. In fact, 2 trains are already assembled in the shed and dummies have been placed in order to start testing.
Yeah, I know they were from a couple of days ago & should have said so, but they were the first photos of the train that were posted & I thought that was good enough. Next time I'll also mention when the photos were posted.
Are there any new photos of the assembled trains?

Even if the coaster doesn't ride as good as it looks, the themeing level is amazing! I wish Khan had been so integrated when it opened in 1995.

Well lets be honest, Khan wasn't THAT imposing anyway.

When I was stationed in the Med, the ship I was on pulled into port there. Khan looked huge from out to sea, even moreso than when I had been to the park previously. It really was imposing due to its location elevated from the surrounding area. Shambhala will have the same boost in stature from the terrain, especially when viewed from afar.

Somebody has been to PA and has shot some pictures of Shambhala and its surrounding area:

Wonder who that somebody was? :p

Some nice ones there. That baby looks amazing!
Thanks for posting.

For some reason, Shambhala looks just about fifty feet bigger than Khan from a distance, but when you're actually on Khan it looks HUGE. I also like the Nepali style buildings used for Shamby. Hopefully concept art is right and the tunnel is in fact themed to a mountain. I also liked the idea of possibly having floating chunks of ice and jagged rocks sticking out of the splashdown overlooked by a fake mountain.

Thanks for photos! I sure hope that tunnel and splashdown will be themed!
It will be, don't worry.

Fantastic shots. I can't wait for this, August cannot come sooner.

Whilst that is true that they just LEFT Baco's tunnel, it's kind of out of sight. Whereas this will be at the front and in people's eyes. They wouldn't do a half arsed effort in that way.

^Precisely, you're going so fast on Baco that you don't really notice it, it'd be a waste of time theming a tunnel thats only seen in a split second. They'll theme this well, it's looking promising so far, and behind the graffiti and stale gum, the park is absolutely stunning.

DjJavi5x from PAFans.com went to the park and snapped a bunch of interesting photos:

Apparently, testing could start as early as next week... Let's hope it's true! :)

Are those first few pictures taken from places that will be accessible when everything's finished? I can't remember if there were paths out that way at the park. If you can get those views when it's running it's going to look phenomenal.

That turnaround is just... awesome.

Those pictures were taken from SesamoAventura's train station. Once Shambhala is open, you will be able to stand almost next to the turnaround and watch trains go by or see the new show "Los Saholines de Shambhala" (some kind of Bhutan dance show that will be held in the Shambhala plaza).

So... I have to wonder if this was easier for B&M to design as they had all the schematics for Khan already, and/or was this something that could have been imagined as far back as the conceptualization for DK?

I'm guessing not, but some parks are actually that far-sighted.

^But they'd have already had the plans for Khan on hand, so presumably that would have saved some time for them designing this? I don't know how well manufactuers communicate plans and stuff. If Khan was some Arrow multi-looper how easy (or necessary) would it be for B&M to get hold of the plans?
