Here are a copy-paste of my post on RCTLounge :
Hello ! This is the very first coaster I display here, and it happens to be also very large, as its title suggests.
Virtu is 312 ft (94 m) high and 1.3 miles (2.1 km) long and contains powerful airtime hills and some twists as well. It is supposed to be built inside the heart of a bustling and budding city.
Making an Intamin non-inverting coaster was my very old dream. Never expected to make it so high though, I guess it turned that way since I acted impulsively while trying for a layout and decided to go crazy. Nonetheless the coaster contains very few bumps, if any by RCT3 standards.
I have some coaster-designing experience as I played RCT3 from its release to early 2008, before taking a long break until early this year. Thus I'm pretty outdated as I ignore much about the CS made during my four years of retirement. And given there are so many Custom-things available nowadays, I'd be really glad if you can give me various advices on which one I could use or how I could improve my buildings overall looks. I have many ideas and sketches but it's quite hard to make them 'real' due to the limitations of in-game scenery. So feel free to voice any criticism, suggestion and advice. I still have many things to learn from this game
Anyway, it's also the very first time I use CF90's supports and I really enjoy making complex supports for this coaster.
More pics :
The first drop, quite impressive on ride. I feel that the black walls are slightly out-of-place. Any suggestion for CS-wall replacement ?
My attempt at making a Stengel Dive. Turns out pretty nicely in my opinion, since it is actually very smooth. Given the 'in the middle of a big city' theme, I've chosen a different, hybrid support style.
The final section comprises two overbankeds bringing the rider very close to the surrounding towers and a high-speed banked final turn. I experimented with the building on the right.
EDIT : Oh and, I purposely don't use Coaster Joe's Intamin supports, they're really great
but I prefer the pre-I305 Intamin supports. I also wanted to give my coaster more a "Thunder Dolphin" feel.
