What's new

Rank the coasters in your home park!

^ I believe the hate you're mentioning is for the Intimidator at Carowinds, not I-305. I-305 is pretty well praised, while Intimidator is a boring, forceless ride. :p

I did Thorpe but seeing as Chessington is just as close, I may as well...

1 - Dragon's Fury
2 - Vampire
3 - Rattle Snake
4 - Runaway Train (it's still special though)

Valleyfair
1. renegade
2. steel venom
3. wild thing
4. corkscrew
5. excalibur
6. high roller

Mount Olympus
1. hades
2. cyclops
3. zues
4. pegasus

Busch Gardens Tampa:
Montu 9.5
Sheikra 9.25
Cheetah Hunt 8.75
Kumba 8.75
Scorpion 7.25

Chessington is technically closer but I visit Thorpe more often so....

1. Stealth
2. Nemesis Inferno
3. The Swarm
4. Saw
5. Colossus
6. Flying Fish
7. X

Drayton Manor

Shockwave 9/10
Troublesome Trucks 6/10 (for a kiddie coaster)
Ben 10 5/10
G-Force 4/10
Buffalo Coaster 2/10

Currently Hong Kong Disneyland. Technically Ocean Park is closer, but I can get to Disneyland a bit quicker (45 minutes from my flat to the main gate)

1. Space Mountain - fab coaster that feels really fast, has great theming and soundtrack, and lasts a pretty long time. The Ghost Galaxy refit for Halloween just makes it even better.

2. Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars - excellent family coaster, but pretty much forceless until the final section. Great that each of the three sections rides so differently, and increase in thrill though. Also great that it's such a unique ride.

3. RC Racer - crap. Horrible idea for a park as busy as Disney. Despite great operations by the staff, this will never match the throughputs of other Disney rides. That aside, it's really **** ing dull and is over before it's got going properly.

Oh boy...this is going to be fun

1. Boulder Dash

Can't decide whether Zoomerang or Wildcat is worse... I guess I'd rather ride Zoomerang, so:

2. Zoomerang
3. Wildcat

Ah, living in Orlando... I have 10 home parks?

But I live literally across the street from Universal Studios Florida so I guess thats my "home" park. But I never go there, so I'll take Fun Spot America, as I go there weekly.

Fun Spot America -
White Lightning
Freedom Flyer
Sea Serpent

As I live in the middle between Chessington and Thorpe, both our considered as my home park.
Thorpe Park
1) The Swarm
2) Colossus
3) Nemesis Inferno
4) X
5) Flying Fish
7) The worst coaster I have ever been on Saw The Ride
(I've still not done Stealth as I refuse to queue 2 hours for a 30 second ride, which is why there is a jump in the ranking)

Chessington World Of Adventures
1) Vampire
2) Rattlesnake
3) Dragon's Fury
4) Runnaway Train

1. Shockwave
2. Buffalo

3. G Force (eurh!)

I haven't ridden Ben 10 or Troublesome Trucks but will be going soon to add them.

The closest park to my house is Brean 'Fun City', but I've only been their twice and the coasters sucked. (The Ghost Train however...<3) My most visited park, and easiest to get to motorway-wise is Thorpe Park, so I'll go with that.

1. Saw
2. Swarm
3. Nemesis Inferno
4. Colossus
5. Stealth
6. X:// Plenty of Ways Out (I quite like it now it's a forward-facing-brake-run-disco)
7. Flying Fish

My two most visited parks-

Worlds of Fun-
1.Patriot
2.Prowler
3.Mamba
4.Timberwolf
5.Boomerang
