Time for an update

1: Helix
Still my favourite Mack by some margin. It has everything I want in a coaster.

2: Ride to Happiness
A fantastic ride, although I don't rate it as highly as others. I can't deny it has moments that are unlike any other coaster I have done.

3: Icon
While it's fallen in my rankings, I'm still a fan of Icon. Some great moments of airtime matched with a layout that weaves it's way in and out of other coasters. It's easily a top 3 in the UK.

4: Blue Fire
A little overshadowed now with Voltron, Blue Fire is a lot of fun and while it's not the most intense ride, the final inversion always makes it worth re-riding.

5: Star Trek: Operation Enterprise
I only had one ride on this in the back row, but I thought it was a solid. While it is the weakest of the traditional Mack launches I have done, it still has it's moments.

6: Pulsar
More exciting than it looks. Having airtime on a water ride is always a welcome experience.

1. The Ride to Happiness. Like... durrr! Of course it's The Ride to Happiness.

2. Helix. Used to be my number 1 coaster. A masterpiece.

3. Pulsar. Don't care, it's a Mack, it's a coaster and it launches so I'm counting it. I think it's brilliant.

4. Time Traveler. Not a patch on RTH, but still a quality piece of kit.

5. Blue Fire. Solid all-rounder.

6. Icon. Decent ride when it eventually warms up.

7. Copperhead Strike. Pathetic launches and too much hangtime, but it's alright, I guess.

8. Star Trek: Operation Enterprise. Pathetic launches and too much hangtime, but it's alright, I guess.
 
Since I'm on a bit of a streak through here:

1. Ride to Happiness, Plopsaland de Panne
2. Helix, Liseberg
3. Voltron, Europa Park
4. Pulsar, Walibi Belgium
5. Blue Fire, Europa Park

Good stuff, these. All of them are pretty comfortably in my top50.

1. Ride to Happiness - My first Extreme Spinner, I went an hour out of my way to ride it, and it was well worth it.
2. Copperhead Strike - The launches aren't great but the whole package is excellent. Copperhead is a perfect mix of airtime and inversions.
3. Slinky Dog Dash - I haven't ridden this in ages. The long queues aren't really worth a glorified Wacky Worm

I've ridden a bunch of Mack launch coasters since posting this so why not?

1. Voltron - perfect overall package, but the roughness can be distracting if you're sitting on an edge seat.
2. Ride to Happiness
3. Stardust Racers - both sides deliver a great package overall. Fun, punchy launches, great interaction, the celestial spin is pretty bonkers, and night rides are a brast.
4. Time Traveler - While its not as intense as its younger sister in Belgium, it still has some elite moments like the first drop out of the station and the giant vertical loop. Its a shame I couldn't get more rides in like I wanted due to cold weather.
5. Copperhead Strike
6. Blue Fire Megacoaster - the original is my first Blue Fire as well. You can tell the ride is Mack's first attempt at one of these. They definitely feel more refined as they put out more and more of these launch coasters. The zero G roll at the end is one of my favorite zero G rolls in the world.
7. Manta - I forgot I rode this a few years ago. I remember it being really fun actually. The operations are a little lackluster though

1. Ride to Happiness- Sheer insanity, chock full of ejector, and a layout full of surprises no matter how many times you ride. Plus I love EDM as is and the way they executed that theme is beautiful. We even got possibly the most epic ride I've ever had on any coaster by sheer luck when loaded off balance.

(I almost didn't need to write anything, there's no better way to convey what I said than this video. And speaking of what I said, pardon our French, mods please delete if this isn't okay. That being said, I do not think you can blame us for our language in this situation.)

2. Voltron- Another cool European coaster with beautiful theming and probably the best queue line industry-wide. It's very intense, lots of killer ejector (there's a case it's the new Skyrush), only gripe with it is the layout feels slightly repetitive.
3. Helix- It was designed to be the best in the world and they delivered, this thing feels so much more recent than 2014. Its epic, terrain-hugging layout and futuristic theme against the backdrop of ultra-modern Gothenburg make this a prime example of Swedish minimalism. Just build a very good ride that looks really, really good.
4. Copperhead Strike- This feels like a modern spaghetti bowl coaster, and even looks like a tangled mess of copper pipe. Dollywood level theming meets a fun, intense ride experience that's somewhat mild on paper, this coaster has an interesting appeal in both families and thrill seekers alike. I love how snappy some of the transitions are, and this was the coaster to finally make me see the point of inversions on a traditional sit down layout.
5. Time Traveler- Beautiful aesthetics, a beautiful location, and that drop right out of the station is iconic. It and Tomorrowland have some of the same appeal, this is just a milder terrain version of the concept but with looping elements.
5. Blue Fire- This was the letdown of the recent Germany trip for me, and it's sad because it's a cool coaster. But it reminded me of Mack's New Texas Giant in that a pretty solid layout was ruined simply by missing every single airtime moment it was designed to have. The roll at the end was pretty good, though.
6. Pulsar- Saw this appear in the thread so I'll count it just so Blue Fire doesn't go on the bottom. Basically a glorified Drop 'N' Drench ride with a tame swing launch, and we got the credit by the skin of our teeth so I'll reap the rewards of barely getting to ride it in the cold and rank it.
