Nippy...

When they showed the exit platform I thought they were on NWO though

Maybe not using the saws till actually proper people are about? Won't want to give EVERYTHING away just yet... But I know what I saw in that advert, guess we have to wait till it's open for permanent proof :p

And I heartily lol at the Brain Injury Association guy, they obviously had a much longer interview with him earlier as it was quite poorly cut into the segment... So would actually like to see more explanation into how they think how these would cause brain damage...
It's obvious that some of them do cause it, whether do to repetitive riding or not, I'm interested to see the arguement they would provide...

Just watched, that is one hell of a bump after the drop when it levels out, could just be the camera though.

Really does fly round the track.

Nah, that is a proper snap on the bottom of the drop, I love it! Rough coasters are the best coasters, I love the loss of control that most new coasters lose through the smoothness.

And yeah, it really does have a lot of speed!

lol I would of posted that video first but accidentally posted it in the wrong topic as I was in a rush before I went to have my dinner. :p

Me in the other topic said:
Brand new BBC News footage of the ride including parts of POV and footage inside the station.

I doesn't give away anything inside the ride so it's spoiler free. Unless you don't want to see the exit platform.

It's got some good footage though, the bottom of the drop looks quite rough and its pretty fast as well. The station looks good as well. :)

Yes I always thought there should have been something at the top of the lift hill that made you thing you were heading for saws and then drop.

Patrick that is the problem I have always had with Eurofighters, but it does not affect everyone.

I think how rough a ride is varies depending on body size/mass/weight/height.
I've always found Eurofighters smooth but really forceful.

And then there's Colossus which isn't picky, just gives pain to everyone

Collie is fine as long as you follow the track, I have no probs with Collie, nor Rage so Saw should be great.

Anyone else notice that the news report didn’t mention Saw?

Probably Copyright etc., but it would’ve made the report more interesting, or rather more compelling.

Anyway, it does look a bit bumpy, but at least it’s forceful.

This is getting ALOT of advertising, can just imagine all the chavs rushing to Thorpe to ride 'The Scariest ride in the world! Lolz. Innit'
I feel for you guys who are going on the Live, having to que up next to hundreds of sweaty, horrible chavs. Yuck.
On my last trip to Thorpe, I was in the que for Samurai and this fugly chav was snogging his **** ugly girlfriend for nearly an hour. Made me feel sick. Lol.

Hey....Dont post much around here, but been following topics for a while.
Just thought id point out that Google Earth has been updated recently.
Saw's track is on there, at least some of it, and not a bad overview of the ride area.

Actually I was just on there, and its interesting to see how much the land around thorpe has changed between the the current and previous image of the area (using the Historical Imagery tool up top), especially on the north west side.

They must've changed google very recently.. I was looking there the other day and they still had Collosus under construction..
