Scariest Roller Coaster You've Ridden

"MF" at Cedar Point was my scariest coaster as not been over 150ft high when I rode it back in 2000, but it was amazing, afterwards everthing else in the park felt "so tame".

"Wild Mouse" at BPB is one of my fav coasters, love being slammed left & right with a drop straight afterwards, wish it was higher and longer.

Tatsu at SFMM........scared the piss out of me. Closed my eyes the whole ride as I was sure death was near.

Ohh actually, apart from Wild Mouse, Steeplechase at Blackpool took me by surprise also. I thought "ooo, what a lovely little horsey ride." Low and behold I almost pissed my pants.

The bobsled coaster in Heidepark. Especially at night, it has a indoor helix wich is taken at full speed, and you get this out-of-control feeling, accompanied by the feeling you will falll out the train.

My scariest ride was, no doubt about that, the freefall tower in Tivoli Friheden (look it up). A ones in a lifetime experience!

^Oh that reminded me of the ridicoulus bobsled at Kings Dominion! A bobsled with airtime  First time around I was like OMG what the **** is this?? That was actually worse than Phoenix, at least Phoenix got up-stop wheels.. But apperently Mack know what they're doing :) A great fun little bobsled btw!

Colon-dyke at Hayling Island. I thought the thing was gonna shake apart, or at least send us flying off the track. Such an un-loved coaster :(

But isn't KD's bobsled the one that crawls around the track and barely makes it up each hill... Or it did in 2008 at least. :?

scariest thing for me was that I was about 2 inches off the seat because of the crampy legroom!

It was pretty fast last year! While watching a POV it's hard to determine where the airtime was. But I remember being vastly surpriced by it! I rode it two times and experienced aritime both of the rides. I believe it's some of the S-bends close to the end where the coaster really pics up speed..

I'd have to say that my first ride on Skyrider at Canada's Wonderland is the only time I was ever scared on a roller coaster.

Skyrider is a Togo standup coaster with a loop and a pretty crazy double helix, but those features weren't what scared me (I saw them coming).

As the ride approaches it's end, you go over a couple bunny hills and then, you have a couple standard turns and straightaways (all turning to the right). For some reason, on the before last straightaway (when you think the ride is pretty much over), there is a really short section of track that banks to the left before straightening out and entering the turn. If you're in the front seat or have been paying close attention to previous rides, you know it's coming, but if you're in a middle train , you can't help but feel like you might have derailed (there is no logical reason for that track to be bent that way, but it is).

I rode Cobra at Attractionmania in Moscow today, and it was horrendous.

I've been on a similar(ish) ride at Connyland, but because they only operate the front four rows, the lifthill wasn't too bad. I rode the back row today though, and it was terrifying. You get dragged backwards, very slowly, up a vertical spike, meaning that your whole weight is pushing down into the restraint. It was horrible.

By scariest roller coaster, I mean a roller coaster you thought you might die on or felt actual fear for your life or safety.
Good definition.

When I first started getting into roller coasters, Magnum XL-200 and Goliath (SFMM) were some of my first rides. Needless to say, my tolerance for coaster adrenaline was very low at that point, which left me completely overwhelmed and shocked while going down their massive first drops.

I love roller coaster adrenaline rushes now and these rides aren't "scary" to me anymore, but at the time the feeling was completely new to me and overly intense, especially when initiating my coaster enthusiasm with these two giants.

Mighty Mouse in Funtown Pier, Seaside, NJ. Before it was destroyed in sandy, thank god. I almost didnt ride it at all, but Kim and Jerry convinced me, and Jerry got a lovely photo of me flipping him off for making me do it as well. I was fine, until I felt the car rock back and forth on the lift hill, that unnerved me for the entire ride. It was a literal death trap.

SOB at Kings Island & MF at Cedar Point in 2000 as I've never been on a coaster that high or fast before..

Wild Mouse at BPB nearly strangled me. But it wasn't so much scary as just annoying.

Oblivion still scares me and I feel silly for it.

has to be Klondike Gold Mine at Hayling Island. I was literally **** myself and not in a good way >.<

Is it so badly maintained, or why? I thought that Orkanens Oje was quite good when riding it yesterday.
