Also because it looks nice.Intricks said:Because you can do all that on a steel coaster, the point of making it wood is just publicity. That is the main argument.
Well, some of us ride coasters like this because they are fun and thrilling, not because we want to add +1 to our coaster count.Who cares? It's a credit.
Intricks said:So Ben, Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, White Lightning and whatever other wooden coasters (Hades?) that contain a 90 degree bank turn aren't considered a modern wooden coaster?

Sorry but you just cant have OTSR on a woodie.
9 moments of airtime!?
81 degree drop, 68 mph, double barrel roll.
Just, f**k.
edit: Not to get into this debate but just my personal opinion...Inversion happens at 180 degrees. Head over feet. So a 179 degree banked turn wont cut it  or a 153 for that matter. But still, crazy!

They are all steel-wood hybrids, and as such, to say either of them were all wood, would be wrong.
Rides like El Toro are all wood. Rides like Voyage and this, are NOT.

Uh oh! You've done it now..........
I'm going to... I have to... It's coming..........
THE DIAGRAM!!!!
It agrees this isn't an inversion, but please realign your definition to suit

Thats what I thought also, but the rolls are apparently going up hill. So I don't think there will be much trimage.oriolat2 said:tks said:It's a steel track with wooden supports that I still don't think looks good. The ending is basically Colossus with wooden supports. </3
Going at the same speed as Colossus </3 I am dying to see the trims on this coaster
