We're all so pessimistic aren't we?
I would say, it's not a bad year for SF -and I'd even go as far as saying it's actually slightly better than last year. Ok, so there's only RMC conversion, and 2 JLBFMs, 4 superloops, a waterplay, a new slide complex plus a 4D free-fly just like last year. But what I'm really impressed with this year, is the way they've bundled flat ride additions together, in SFOG, SFFT, La Ronde, and most significantly, SFFT. Then, to further compensate for only 1 RMC, 2 major ride rennovations.
With those additions, it's really quite hard to be disappointed if you're a frequent park visitor.
OK, maybe SFA, great Escape, La Ronde and SFstl, but then again, they've always been neglected, and might well be in line for something next year...Plus La Ronde and SFstl's addition are much better than they have been in previous years.
SFOT - Great set of additions, especially that Zamperla frisbee. Nice to see the park continuing to build up a comprehensive range of attractions. Every park visitor will be happy with this.
SFMM - Exactly what the park needed. After Twisted Colossus last year, they're effectively getting a new coaster for everyone to ride and enjoy. Quality!
SFFT - Good set of additions, to really rejuvinate the boardwalk area of the park.
SFNE - After WC last year, with the Bizarro/Superman rennovation, the 1-2 coaster punch should be incredible. You'd be happy with just the rennovation, but to chuck a Superloop in is even better!
SFM, SFGam - Dark rides are really key to a park's well rounded success, and both have been treated recently, so to get one of these is fantastic.
SFOG - Not great from a thrill perspective, but fantastic for kids and families. I'd expect something coaster-related next year?
SFGADV - A bit disappointed with the layout, but hey, another solid addition to their line up, adding variety. Hopefully we'll see more, and better, 4D freeflys next year.
SFDK - Incredible! But then again, we were expecting that...
As a coaster enthusiast, it's not amazing, but it's good consolidation of their line-ups. Go back to 2013/2014 additions, and you'll appreciate it.
