If Rougarou is anything to go by, they'd have been better off scrapping it.

I'd agree with you if it wasn't kind of a historic coaster. The only problem I have with this conversion is them blasting out Katy Perry's Firework in the station! Urgh what a horrible song.

I wonder why B&M didn't install magnetic brakes on this like they did on Rougarou and Patriot. I'm assuming it's all down to added cost and Six Flags being cheap?

With these projects it will be a long process of analysing how the different trains manoeuvre the track and the benefits of magnetic breaks, but also how they will affect the safety of the ride.

I don't think six flags and B&M would make the choice to not replace the braking system because they are "cheap". Safety systems are not something you just cut corners on. Although I am curious as to what goes into these choices from an engineering point of view.

I like the orange, but reckon the ride still won't be up to much.

Got to try it on Monday. It was having issues operating earlier in the day but it eventually did open. Floorless trains did not improve the ride... And the parks clientele still don't seem to care about it.
