Yeah, it's a super boomerang
Vekoma has 10 ongoing projects in the United States right now, per a representative, plus stuff in Mexico and a few rides that have recently opened. You can be sure that the tidal wave has already come crashing down.Really like the look of the ride itself. If anything, hopefully this is the start of more new Vekomas popping up in the States!
Nah, gonna be a singular Super Boomerang, but with 3 trains.
There is the overflow pathway that makes the DC Metropolis section more of a loop, but I also understand that pathway isn’t always open. Agreed though on ride placement, and giving more draw and offer to this side of the park.Glad they're putting it by that hidden DC area around the corner. Was concerned it'd be a Joker situation and become one of the first rides you have access to upon walking in, but if I'm not mistaken this requires you to go all the way around past Batman and Dark Knight. Still gonna be a rope-drop move of course.

Expanding on this. The previous rumor was that the new for 2024 paint scheme was going to be green track, blue supports, and would see the ride be renamed Goliath. It would've also reused signage from the defunct SFNE Goliath, so in a way it would've been its spiritual successor. There was apparently opposition that resulted in the rename going, and now, according to this Reddit post (grain of salt), we're looking at a blue track, gray support color scheme.NITRO REPAINT - Still On The Table?
A planned Nitro repaint has been in the books since last year, with talk that it would even receive a new name in the process. However, because repainting a hyper coaster isn't cheap, the structure paint was put off a year, with the trains instead being redone in the meantime. The yellow trains suddenly became light blue over the offseason, with B&M even shipping a new one in so they could retire an existing one. It's unclear right now whether the rest of the coaster will still be repainted next year - if so we're perhaps looking at a shade of green.
