Six Flags new for 2016

SFA would probably get another crappy coaster relocated from another SF park. :p Do they not have a boomerang? Maybe SFNE can give them Flashback (and then SFNE would no longer have two boomerangs!) ;)
SFA... had... a boomerang. Well, an Invertigo, and it was a damn good ride! Two Face (RIP)

^ But SFGAM doesn't have a boomerang. ;-)
Zz, I know its a poor relocation joke... but Gam did have a GIB Boomer.

Well now, this seems interesting if true for Great Adventure. Seems like they could be getting a S&S 4D FreeFly that would put Fiesta Texas to shame.

Interesting wording there as well.

From Screamscape yo.

^I'm very interested to see what S&S could do on a large scale with a ride like this!

I also find the phrasing interesting with "high speed", "thrusting" and "special effects". Could this mean a launch? And what could the special effects be?? But knowing Six Flags it could just as well be just empty words for marketing..

I just realized that you (and Screamscape) where referring to SF Fiesta Texas. The FreeFly model is Tranan at Skara Sommarland in Sweden. BTR is a FreeSpin.. I wonder wheter it's a typo from Six Flags, or if it's Screamscape who does not know the difference between the models? I'm hoping it's the latter one! I would love to see what would become of a large scale FreeFly!! :D

Haha I'd be totally traumatised by the idea of a giant FreeFly. There's a reason there's of one of them in the world!

But yeah, they mean the FreeSpin, as in what's in SFFT.

^I thought Tranan was a good ride :--D A little bit boring layout-wise, but still great fun! Imagine what a bit larger layout could do to the concept? ;) Don't think the capacity is too bad, plus they could connect a couple of cars to make a small "train" for added capacity.

But if it indeed is a FreeFly (and not FreeSpin) that's in the Six Flags survey, then I think it'll be the "adult" version of it:

That actually could be what is coming, as they state a "One of its kind in the world".

However, the magnetic fin flips is throwing that off, unless the arms your seat is attached to can spin through magnetic forces as well...

That looks that it could be heavily inclined to technical difficulties and would be down a lot... And it doesn't even look visually appealing...

In the other news:

2016 - RMC / ROAR UPGRADE - Rumor - (6/10/15) Six Flags and Rocky Mountain Construction... the world wants to know where they will partner up next... and I think I know. According to the Screamscape Spy Network, the two may converge in California once again later this year where RMC may work their magic on Roar, GCI's infamous first coaster to feature the Millennium Flyer trains back in the day.

EDIT: ^ Damn, you've beaten me to it. I guess every Six Flags park is to get a RMC coaster sooner rather than later.

It is a freespin. You can see Batman at SFFT in the picture posted by Intricks a few posts up.

That's a whole lot of trees to take down purely for a solar farm, it seems counterproductive. I can understand why locals would be outraged. They could have opted for something similar to Europa Park or Rainbow Magicland in the car park.

I found an update on Superman: The Ride. It's actually been red for a few months now. SFNE Online filmed a video too:

I've never ridden it as Superman and actually liked it as Bizarro (more unique with the name and color imo), but tbh the red and blue look pretty good.

I did prefer the purple, but I nice to see it all spruced up for now. However, apart from the first one, the cardboard cut outs are worse than before! No idea how everyone has reacted to the VR so far on this coaster.

I personally think the red and blue looks better. The purple was kind of boring, especially in Springfield where everything is already quite drab. (What a **** town. Only redeeming quality is that basketball was invented there)
