Small News From The Theme Park Industry

IIRC the park manager talked about redesigning it to hold three cars on each arm instead of four, so this two-car state could be temporary.
So...instead of a swastika, it'll look like a triskele, which unfortunately, is also another symbol associated with the far right.

I'm sure the ride is great though.

This shopping mall in Darmstadt, Germany will be 10 years old this autumn and they are planning more than 40 entertainment attractions. No date for this is confirmed yet, but lovely to see a mini theme park in a European mall in future...

Holiday World confirmed earlier today that Voyage will be closed for the rest of the season for maintenance:

And don't anybody hype up Timberliners...

Wouldn't really make any sense if they removed Hero to me. It's only been around for 6 years. Unless they plan on relocating it elsewhere in the park or selling it.
Its been poorly received by all enthusiasts and most of the GP, not to mention that its horrifically unreliable. It would make little sense to keep maintaining such a bad ride. Nevertheless, there's probably some park out there that would be dumb enough to buy it!

The fact that that its been removed from their marketing when it used to feature quite prominently adds to the theory that it would be removed.

Absolutely agree with that ? Who knows, maybe they'll have a new coaster in that site in the future. Not too soon after the 10 looper but... Something compact that does the job

It could also be that they only have the capacity to have a certain number of coasters running at the same time. Say, four thrill coasters, four family coasters and a kiddie. If another coaster goes in, one must have to go out. Removing the most reviled one (honestly, why did they even buy a Volare in the first place, given their reputation?) makes the most sense, and with it being so new and all, it shouldn't be too difficult to find another gullible sucker buyer on the second-hand market. Very few coasters are ever scrapped in the UK, they tend to be dismantled and sold.

That is true... Just don't send it to Lightwater Valley cause they have suffered enough! Send it to somewhere like a Crealy or somewhere out in Europe. Now, I say Crealy cause its family fun and the height requirement is only a little above the other coasters at Crealy
