A heat wave is currently making its way through northern France, causing major issues at the parks. With temperatures reaching 39 degrees celsius, many of Disneyland Paris’s outdoor attractions shut down around 1:30 P.M today and remained closed until past seven in the evening. With the heat expected to last for the rest of the week, the resort has decided to close down certain food outlets for the safety of their staff, and outdoor entertainment such as parades will not feature costumed characters for the time being.

Meanwhile, Parc Saint Paul has decided to close its gates until Friday at minimum due to guest safety. The park already closed a few food outlets over the weekend as the heat rolled in, and now the park has made the call to not operate at all in the hopes that cooler weather rolls in by Saturday.
