To make matters worse, they’ve allegedly closed the Single Rider and Fastrack queues and moved RAP due to the sign over the entrance not being secure…
This is relatively small fry overall if temporary, but it looks absolutely dreadful and shutting queues and sacrificing the actual ride operations to facilitate a cheap sponsorship is appalling. I can’t fathom how this was signed off…

Although there was no SRQ at Hyperia yesterday, due to the RAP queue not being accessible, all queues are operational today.

I’m not a die hard nostalgic by any means, only rode the ride for the first time this year and had no memories of the original… but even I’m here and saying this is excellent news!
You can just tell that that ride wants to be a Jules Verne ride, and the Star Wars theme might be the most half-hearted retheme I’ve ever seen. Aside from some stickers, some flags and the audio, they’ll have very little to remove! Restoring the Jules Verne theming feels like that ride might finally return to what it’s supposed to be!

Star Mountain at Beto Carrero World will officially be retired after four decades of operation. The Vekoma Corkscrew with Bayerncurve began running in 1980 and arrived at the park in 1994, officials have made the call that it's reached the end of its service life. A new themed area will reuse the space imminently.
